Better/easier than soldering and connecting 2 wires

You know what’s not annoying is these little connectors that save you time and headaches. Connect, apply heat source, and bam you got waterproof connections to two wires. The sealing is nice to prevent corrosion which you would otherwise get if exposed. They are color coded properly to the US gauge standards. I tried a hairdryer instead of a heat gun and that didn’t work - so you definitely will need high temperature to get that firm seal. I don’t have that many projects that need this, but would still recommend to anyone that has ever needed to connect two pieces of wire.

Works as Advertised
I gave a try. This product works but, you will need to secure the connectors. After heating up the connectors and wire it becomes very flimsy. Also very important to follow the sizing correctly. My preference is still crimping and then heat shrink over the crimp.

These things suck
Currently requiring a boat and thought these might work well for the water resistance. Everyone I tried just melts apart then when it cools off and dries it is very brittle. Just spent the extra money on anchor marine heat shrink butt connectors and they work better. Bought this item because of all the positive reviews but wish I didn’t now. Maybe I just got a bad batch.

Quick, easy and sturdy connection
I love these connectors. They're great for doing applications that are going to be exposed to the elements. They seal tight and keep corrosion down. The solder in there does its job well enough. I haven't run into any problems with it yet. Yeah, I know these are a little bit more costly but they are so much better than your standard connectors. Worth it in the long run for most all applications.

Gotta be better out there
You have to crimp to hold wires while heating it up or wires pull apart. You must super heat the solder before it melts away your conductor insulation

Dont waste your money.
When connecting two wires under perfect conditions they do not work correctly. The plastic melts off the wires before the solder melts which causes it to be worthless.

Looks great.
Love the way it shrinks around the wires and makes them look done like a pro done it.
