Works like a charm
Excellent product. I can put a little of the powder on the door in addition to putting it in the time-release tray, and my dishes come out clean and without any additional residue I need to wash off. Please see the "Technology Connections" video on YT how to use a dishwasher, to see what I'm talking about (it does not mention this product, FWIW).

Completely scent free and leaves dishes sparkling clean
I’m allergic to perfumes. I used to use Cascade Lemon scent because it was the least offensive to me. But even that got strong. Plus, I wanted to use a more environmentally supportive detergent. This is wonderful - no scent and cleans everything like a dream. It’s getting hard to find in stores because so many of them are only carrying liquids or those gel packs. I won’t use either of those because the gel in them clings to dishes and glassware, in particular, leaving a taste behind that I hate. I get that it’s to provide sheeting action to prevent water spots, but I could always add that to my dishwasher if I cared. The other issue I have with gel packs is that, contrary to what manufacturers will tout, they do not completely dissolve. They usually break down into small enough bits that they’ll pass through home wastewater systems, but then they contribute to fatbergs in municipal systems (don’t even think about them with septic). Plus, they’re plastic! We have to stop putting microplastics into our water because they’re making their way back into our bodies and causing many health issues. So, I stick to powder and particularly to Seventh Generation. And when I’m done with the box? It’s paper and recyclable, so no plastic going back into the environment.

Satisfied for sure.
Instead of receiving 2-75OZ boxes, I received 4-45 OZ boxes. Good if you want to share with a neighbor. Not as good if storage is an issue. The nice thing is that I was charged what I was to be charged, yet I received a tad more powder. Thanks for that. Additionally, I have had a difficult time finding the powder in my local large and medium sized chain grocery stores. Packaging was less impressive as the boxes were sliding around a bit. All in all, fine.

So nice to have utensils that don't taste like soap
Okay, I confess that I am a beater, spatula, and spoon licker when I bake and I am so tired of having my bowls and utensils tasting like dishwasher detergent. It was gross! I used the top name brand, which seemed to clean well, but apparently left lots of unseen soap residue on my dishes. Any dish or utensil made of plastic, rubber, or silicon smelled and tasted like soap. After doing some research I found this Second Generation product. As I am also trying to reduce my plastic usage in cleaning products and this product is not a plasticky, dissolving pod that could potentially clog my dishwater drain hoses (been there, done that, new dishwasher), but a straight-up powder in a cardboard box. I am very pleased with this detergent. Nothing smells or tastes of soap, and everything comes out clean. It's a bit pricy if you generally purchase store brand products, but it's not too far off the top name brand price. I will continue to purchase this product.

Works great with no fragrance.

Been using for years and works great
I overall like Seventh Generation products. Support a B corporation feels good. This cleans dishes really well in my Bosch 800 dishwasher. It is so much more economical than those stupid pods . I only need to use 1 Tablespoon per load

Not as advertised
Advertised as two 75 oz boxes. But it turned out to be two 48 oz boxes. Deceptive and false!
