I actually tried this product because a Reddit user recommended it as a dupe for the Fresh Soy face wash. I thought I wouldn't be into a milk cleanser, but I actually really like it! It is a gentle wash, and my face feels really clean and soft afterwards, without feeling dry. I will definitely be purchasing again. The smell is also really evocative of the freshness of cucumbers, which I think adds to the experience. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who doesn't like the smell of cucumbers. But otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

I have been using this facial cleanser product for a number of years and it continues to be my favorite cleanser. The positives include: gentle, very light pleasant fresh cucumber smell, has a cooling effect, removes excess oil but not drying, not overly expensive, and a great everyday cleanser. I have loaned the product to visiting guests who forgot face cleanser and many of them are now using it as well. The only personal negative is that I wish it had a glass bottle option (trying to use less plastic lately).

My skin is not overly sensitive, but I wanted to switch from using harsh face wash (proactiv and then clean and clear) to organic. This stuff is great...is doesn't sud because its more natural. It is very gentle (again, no ezcema or anything serious so not sure about that) on my skin and refreshing...a light cucumber scent that is nice! I think its a great deal for the price. I use this in combination with apple cider vinegar toner (diluted 1 part ACV to 3 parts water) and Burt's Bee sensitive skin moisturizer. The combo is great. Not sure if this stuff on its own would be good for acne prone skin, but it works very well on mine. With this regime, my skin feels soft and moisturized. As a side note....I have blepharitis (itchy dry lids and beyond), and (obviously not a doctor so please be careful) but have been using this to gently clean my lids for two months and it works better than anything else! (ocusoft left my lids itchy and irritated, and flaky, while this leaves them clean and moisturized and soft.)

It’s a great way to start my morning, it’s so heavy and milkier than I thought so you don’t have to use much so it’s a great value!!! You’ll have this for a good amount of time and the smell is simple in a good way, it does smell more like bamboo strangely than aloe but both aromas are great. If you have sensitive skin and scents make you break out, I highly doubt this would do that for you.

I recently have switched to cruelty free products. Before switching to this product, I used Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash every day, and Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub every other day. I used that skin care regime for about 10 years. While those Neutrogena products worked very well for me, they weren't cruelty free (they are owned by Johnson & Johnson). I first tried Christina Moss organic face wash and that made me break out a lot. I think it was because my skin may have been sensitive to the amount of essential oils in that face wash. So then I searched again, and I began looking for a cruelty free face wash that was somewhat similar to my Neutrogena face wash. When I found that this Yes To Cucumbers Gentle Milk Cleanser contained green tea and cucumber just like my Neutrogena one, I decided to try it and hope for the best. Now don't get me wrong, it took my skin a bit to adjust to this wash and I had some break outs, but not nearly the amount I had with the Christina Moss one. I have been using this face wash for 11 days now, and my breakouts are calming down (cause my skin is starting to really adjust to this face wash), and my face feels and looks great (even better than with the Neutrogena products!) My face doesn't feel oily or dry using this face wash, and I do have combination T-zone skin. However, please note that this product doesn't contain any Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide, in case that is something you are looking for in a face wash. I do use Alba Botanica Good and Clean Toxin Release Scrub every other day, which is cruelty free as well and has Salicylic Acid (not sure how much though).

I'll start by saying that I'm generally fond of Yes to products due to them being hypoallergenic and largely free of chemicals like parabens and phthlates: this product is no exception. It is paraben-free and SLS and petroleum free, which matters to me. My skin is normal though leanings towards dry, and I have yet to break out or suffer any dryness from the gentle milk cleanser. The milk cleanser feels lovely on my skin. The milk cleanser true to its name, as the formula is gentle. In addition, the formula is silky smooth, thin, and pearly white. It does not contain SLS and other unnecessary additives and thus does not foam or lather very much, but the cleansing properties are still very apparent. It has a very calming yet refreshing scent, and it leaves my face feeling smooth and clean after use. It isn't a very moisturizing cleanser, but it isn't drying either. Caveat: If your skin is on the more sensitive side, this may not be sensitive enough. If your skin is on the dry side, this may not be moisturizing enough. I have tried other natural products that are more gentle on the skin, so this cleanser may not be ideal if you have very sensitive or dry skin.

It's fine. It cleans well without stripping the skin, and moisturizes a bit too. I'm not a fan of the scent, though. Did nothing for my acne or rosacea (most thing don't, so it is what it is).
