These were amazing, beautiful dark colour, perfect for my black flower garden

First time gardener here, I sowed almost half the packet in a propagating tray with a cover, they started sprouting in 7-9 days with a high success rate. Then I sowed a few seeds directly into a flower bed, those ones took approx 10-12 days to sprout with a much lower success rate. I still have a good few seeds leftover.

A generous amount of seeds and good germination rate. Give these plants plenty of breathing space to avoid Hollyhock rust.

I judge seed quality on germination. Since I only found time to sow these four days ago, I’m reserving final judgement. So far though everything has been great, I can’t find fault with seed or delivery It honestly looked good quality.

The seeds are packaged in a small plastic bag with a sticker noting the variety. There's a lot of seeds for the cost and I hope they turn out to be the right colour. I've not planted them yet so can't comment on whether they germinate but no reason to think they won't.

Germinated fast

Bought two lots of these and they germinated fine, but are sunflowers not hollihocks! Of course by the time that became clear, I was outside the returns window. I am going to have to dig them out and start again with a different supplier
