The best growler type bottle on the market
I bought these for my dad. He is a kidney transplant patient and is suppose to consume a lot of water but he doesn’t love to drink water. But he does love to munch on that nugget ice from Circle K. So I go over to circle K and fill up up two 64 ounce drink tanks of just ice, which is free. I also like to munch on that ice so I fill up two additional 64 growlers that own but a different brand than these DrinkTanks. I got to say that while mine keep the ice cold as well as the DrinkTanks (actually the DrinkTanks are probably a bit better because the lid itself is partially from metal), having these latches with the sturdy handles is wayyyyy better than mine bottles. They are also more expensive but my dad wants the best and these are the best. The lids on mine wear out over time because the plastic connector flexes over time and eventually snaps which requires me to get another one from Amazon, which is quite annoying. That isn’t a problem with the DrinkTanks... they are built very strong and not susceptible to this issue which will likely enable these to last several decades. I got two of these, a red and blue one... and the paint job is really professional and striking.

Be aware of state laws
The product itself is very reliable and beautifully designed. It looks impressive, and it does a great job. So I have nothing negative in terms of the product itself and can't really add on in terms of the other positive reviews. I will just give a warning to those that are looking for a growler to purchase craft beer or filling up at a brew station. Be aware of your state laws regarding open containers. Most places will not refill your growler as they cannot heat seal the cap. So if that is your intent, I suggest reaching out to your local retailer first to see if they are able to fill your growler. I know for myself, they've seen a few of these growlers, and although they refused to fill it, they would give one of theirs for free due to the inconvenience. Nothing stopping you from transferring the retailer growler to your DrinkTank growler once you get home though.

Great Beer Growler
This growler is very well made and has a solid seal due to the double acting tension mechanism. The color variety is nice and I got a compliment on it from the couple tap room workers I’ve had fill it up for me so far. It says it is dishwasher safe but I’d err on the side of caution and hand wash due to the vacuum insulation

Tough and does it’s job
Perfect growler. This thing looks good, is very tough, and seals tighter than any other growler I’ve encountered. I’ve taken this to the park hours after a fill up and the beer is still cold. I’ve left it in my fridge for a week after a fill up before opening and the beer is still fresh.

Really good seal.
Used this growler twice now and noticed beer was still fresh and cold the next day, saying about 20 hours. Don't know about longer cause drank beer.

Nice growler but the product photos are misleading
This is a good growler. I had not seen this new version in person so I bought based on the product photos. First I got a 32 oz in the copper color. It looks great with a metallic finish that looked like anodizing. From the photos the other colors looked like similar metal finishes. I bought the “Cove” color. Without the magic of photoshop, it’s just a light blue paint, not metallic or shiny at all. Looks like good paint similar to yeti or hydroflask, but nothing like the photos.

Stepped up my Growler Game
This growler has been a total winner. I previously purchased a different brand (Wirecutter #1) but it proved problematic so I got the "New" (Version 2) 64 oz DrinkTanks. The lid comes off when you release the clamps (it's not hinged) but that has not been an issue: in fact, the seal has been first class. I also purchased the DrinkTanks Keg Cap accessory and that has proven very successful. I used to use inexpensive glass growlers but I couldn't take them to the community pool. Now I wish I had bought this growler years ago because it is portable and keeps beer cold & fresh.

Excellent at keeping co2 in club soda.
Co2 is going to stay in for sure. Epic handle. Hard to drink from directly but I knew that going in. I use it for club soda. Doesn't stay cold as long as my sustainstation but that growler can't hold co2 at all. I got the keg top and wow. Total fail. (And way too expensive) Your going to pop the release valve or only get half a glass of carbed beverage. Pick one. So your constantly charging it per half pour so the wow that's cool vibe exits the room fast. Ended up drilling it out and installing ball locks and another psi valve which works as I thought the keg top would.
