Step 2: Put the shoes on to determine the desired length. Push the lock mechanism down to open the holes and thread the lock onto the laces and tighten to your desired tension. Step 3: Cut the laces to your desired length. We recommend about 2"-5". Just be aware that longer slack will flap around if you're going to use the shoes for running.
