Would be so great
I had to return it even though I really liked it but, it did not fit my Wancle circulator. Not much does unfortunately. I could have returned the Wancle but, that machine is wonderful for people who are not using wifi or Bluetooth. So, still hunting for a Geesta capable of handling a Wancle. It is exhausting and I am very tempted to return Wancle and purchase an Avida. Everything is geared to Avida, really tiresome as if there would not be other circulators on the market. Not happy

Didn't know I needed one!
The design is great as well as the construction. I was used to using a large pan with no kids or even the sink!!Pros- Sturdy Construction- Perfect size. I have done a Boston butt, a Chuck Roast this week. Both around 4-5 lbs- Water retention is great. 40 hour cook and maybe lost 1/2 or 1 inch of water.Cons- Wide rim. Not really a con but it was hard for me to stretch my juul clamp over the edge. I'm ok with it now and figured out the best practices.I wish I had purchased one long ago.

Great purchase!
I have used mine since April. At first I had a little trouble fitting my Yedi Sous Vide cooker onto the side, but then I figured out a method that works and have had no trouble since. I am in the last hour of a 48 hour cook and only lost about 1/4 inch of water, if that. This container is easy to clean, easy to store and a great purchase. If I had one wish it would be that the lid had a hinge to open one side. Highly recommend.

Great Vessel - Needed Minor Adaptation on the Lip
I am fairly new to Sous Vide cooking. I use the RIIMONE Sous Vide machine and started out with a stainless steel pot. While this works okay, there seems to be a good amount of water loss due to evaporation when using an open pot for the longer durations. The pot also affords limited space for multiple pouches. I looked into Sous Vide vessels and decided to try the GEESTA one. At 12 quarts, it should handle most of my needs. The lid definitely can help keep the water loss to a minimum. The unit seems to be pretty sturdy and well designed. The lip of the container presented an issue as my RIIMONE clamp had a problem with it. I considered returning it for another brand but most of these have a lip and would probably have the same result. I decided to adapt the unit by cutting a small portion of the lip off with my oscillating saw. I now have a small notch in the lip on one side of the vessel that allows my Sous Vide clamp to fit much better.I am now able to use this with plenty of space and no worries of water loss on the longer duration cooks.

Works great!
I bought a brand new sous vide and decided to get this container to go with it. I'm so happy I did! The lid is great as it has a cut-out for the sous vide. Living in an RV, I don't have a lot of counter space and this fits right in my sink! It's sturdy and the lid keeps the steam mostly inside the container. Afterwards I use the hot water to wash the dishes!

The Perfect Size
I have the Joule and this works perfectly with it. I also have a much larger container but found it was too large. This size is much more appropriate for my fiance and me for a meal or for a few days of meal prep. If you have just gotten a sous vide, I would recommend getting this one along with it. It comes with a lid to help mitigate evaporation. It really is the perfect size unless you plan to feed an army.

Great for sous vide!
This is the best container for sous vide, I wouldn’t use anything else anymore. Big enough for a large amount of food and my Anova works perfectly in it. Actually have learned the submersion method for cooking with this item. It a real deal and strong. Can carry full of water no problem. Normally I just fill next to sink. Easy to pick up to empty.

Sturdy Sous vide container
This fits my sous vide perfectly .It is made of a sturdy thick plastic that wont scratch or break as easy as normal plastic. It also does not get hot on the outside wich is a big plus so we dont have to worry about burning ourselves. The price a little expensive but it is a really good product to cook the sous vide items in and many items in fact because it is quite big .
