Our two rocking chairs had been moved to the family room downstairs. We were just blessed with a new granddaughter so wanted a rocker upstairs and based on the reviews and the price range we gave this one a try. It's a very nice rocker, roomy, sturdy and comfortable. (The cushions in the photo did not come with the rocker. It's actually fairly comfortable without them but cushions are nice,) Assembly is simple but not really easy. I'll explain. I tried to assemble the rocker by myself and found that it was difficult to hold some of the pieces in place while lining up the bolts. So I had my wife help me and then everything went together fairly easily. If you separate all of the bolts, nuts, and washers and follow the directions carefully it goes rather smoothly. Only one tool is required, an Allen wrench that is included, but it's helpful if you also have a flat-bladed screwdriver on hand. I only have one very minor complaint. The screws are all recessed but there are no plugs to hide the screw heads so the screws on the outsides of the legs are visible. It's not a big deal because they are recessed, so not really all that noticeable, and I didn't deduct a star because of it but plugs would be nice. Otherwise, the chair looks great. Overall, it's a very nice chair and we can't wait to rock our new granddaughter in it.

It arrived on time. Assembly was easy and did not require any additional tools nor modifications. The construction is solid and the rocking chair sturdy and finish is excellent. In all very nice and very good value. I’d like to use button plugs, but the screw holes are not standard 1/2” or 3/8”. Why??? Or can the manufacturer supply ones that go?

What caught my eye about this first and foremost was the price. I wanted something for my nursery that I could use often, looked nice, and that wasn't upholstered (due to baby spit ups). This rocking chair is awesome! It was easy to assemble and comes with everything necessary to put it together (allen wrench, bolts, washers, spacers, etc). Directions were super easy to follow! My only struggle was the final bolt which was slightly misaligned from the hole. As a mechanical engineer with familiarity in bolting standards, I loosened the other 5 bolts, but still found that I was unable to place the final 6th bolt onto the base. I just left it off as 2 bolts per side (4 total) probably would be sufficient from a structural standpoint. I was nervous about scratches on the wood floors so I also bought some long felt strips that I applied to the bottom of the rocking rails. Bottom line: This is a must have for your nursery not only if you don't want to spend a ton of money on furniture, but purely because it's a great looking rocking chair and is super sturdy!

It is very pretty. I was a little apprehensive ordering Cherry because sometimes the shade is too bright or light if not actual cherrywood but this chair is perfect. It was a little taxing putting it together because the instructions were a bit vague for me but once I figured it out, it took me about two hours. It is very sturdy and has a smooth rock. Highly recommended for the price

Color is not too close to picture. Instructions are not ok Will take two people to line holes so a dowel should have been provided Will need two people The part numbers are hard to find on wood It has scratches and more than the 30 yr old one I am replacing. Would not recommend When I put on bottom the holes would not align for screws but I removed E and F pieces and it did then easily wedged them in and it was ok. If a few dowels were given to first align holes all would have been easy.
