An excellent handbook for the understanding of the Geomancy of Place. Earth Alchemy not only provides excellent information, the material is presented in an easily understandable manner, complete with accompanying drawings and/or photos, exercises are provided at the end of each chapter so you can practice what has been taught. One of the positive aspects of the book is that it provides just enough information so as not to overwhelm the reader. In addition it develops the chapter lessons in a building block manner, so you are always increasing your knowledge rather that having it all dumped in your lap at once by learning, doing exercises and moving on to new information.Perhaps not the title for an advanced student of Geomancy, however it presents the materials in an excellent format for someone who is preparing for studies, or in the early to middle stages of the science or simply curious to explore and better understand the topic. As a serious student of Geomancy, I would have appreciated having had this on my reading list before beginning my studies, and appreciate having the words of my Mentor now and learning or clarifying several points in this reading.Perhaps some resources for studying with a teacher and finding the materials mentioned, such as: [...] would have been helpful, however in today's Internet world...neither would be too difficult to find. Looking forward to book two!

This book is perfect as a starter in the world of earth energies. The authors have been very generous sharing many techniques to discover blocks in your home and clear them properly which is a type of content generally covered only in trainings (and therefore quite expensive).

What a fascinating approach to the topic. Parker's work is deeply researched and thoughtfully presented. An important topic for today's polluted world.

This powerful "guidebook" researches and explains the many Earth energies such as fault lines, water lines, vortexes, etc., and how these forces can affect the human body and energetic field in both illness and wellness. The authors have done an outstanding job outlining and illustrating our connection with nature and our innate ability to sense disharmonious energies in the Earth, as well as providing exercises to practice feeling these energies using our own bodies. This book does not stop with explaining the effects of the Earth energies, but also describes how to work with the energy to create harmonious living spaces to benefit our own energetic bodies.This relatively small book is packed with useful and ample information that will not only remind readers of our connection with Mother Earth, but even more importantly how to work with the Earth's energy to create a more harmonious relationship with her.

Earth Alchemy is an amazing book. On the surface it seems very simple, but upon closer look there are many layers to delve into. I have been taking classes from Dominique Susani (one of the authors) for years and finally we have a book that covers so much of his work. Much of what is covered helps the individual tune into the sensations felt in the body that most people aren't consciously aware of, but when questioned will readily answer "hey, there is something I don't like about my house, but don't know what it is.." This book has answers to these questions. It is a basic dowsing book designed for beginning and intermediate learners, but there is so much to to understand that even advanced dowsers will enjoy having this book as part of their library. Instead of intellectualizing the information, Earth Alchemy gives us exercises to experience exactly what the authors write about. The exercises are deceptively simple and easy to follow, but when you go through and try them you begin to experience why this book is such a gem. Information that has been lost for centuries is accessed and a greater understanding of not only the world around us, but what really is going on at sacred sites is presented! I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in dowsing, earth energies, earth acupuncture, and those who want to create more balance and harmony in their lives.

Drs. Parker and Susani have written a brave and extremely insightful book. This book describes how our forebears worked with the energy in the ground to harmonize their building projects and design the layout of public spaces. Sometimes the author speaks in riddles and at other times the book is fascinating. I have enjoyed reading it and have learned and benefited from it.
