I added ascorbyl palmitate (along with some other helpful vitamins and supplements) to my daily regimen many years ago when I went to a nutritionist for help with immune system problems. I have continued taking it because I definitely get sick with viruses or bacterial infections far less often, and I feel it also improve my complexion, and mental stamina and focus. While the positive effects in my particular case might be attributable to other factors as well, there are plenty of reputable studies substantiating the particular value of ascorbyl palmitate, the only form of vitamin C that can cross the blood/brain barrier. I have been taking the NOW brand of ascorbyl palmitate for well over a decade. I take a number of NQW supplements, and I have never had a bad batch. I took a star off only because I wish it were available in dark glass jars, and because there are a few additives., but I will continue to be a regular consumer of this product. Well priced and effective. Highly recommend.

Awesome product, however, the shipping time is misleading. Although they do ship it within 3 days, they estimated after the fact that it will be up to 3 weeks upon delivery. Still waiting for my product.
