Add some color to your cymbals
Surprised how bright yet dark this splash is. It’s louder than my old k custom dark splash, it projects well and looks nice. I have it in the middle of 16” and 18” wuhan b20 cymbals

Shipping Damage on 12” Splash
12” Splash, sounds pretty good, but would sound better without shipping damage.Would be 5 stars if it didn’t come damaged. It showed up in a paper bag, with three dents on the rim of the cymbal, and the bell badly scratched.Super disappointed in the shipping. Previously cymbals I’ve bought from this line were shipped in boxes and were undamaged. This one was shipped from Germany, previous properly boxed cymbals shipped from U.S.

Quality cymbal
The cymbal is good quality and works perfect for what I'm using it for. The sound is amazing if your not beating the hell out of it with drum sticks. It's only a splash not meant to be beat on.

Good splash + priced reasonably
This strange looking line of cymbals sound very good. I have a few and I use them mostly in practice. They are reasonably priced and they hold up well. I haven't recorded with them but I would consider it.

Doesn't Really Make a Splash For Studio Players.
I should have known better. I'm a professional drummer. I use Sabian AAX & HHX cymbals. I do have a Zyldjian K ride, and HHX splashes. It read the reviews, and asked a few friends what they thought of the Meinl splashes. I purchased this one. It's okay. When hit next to high quality cymbals, it doesnt hold up. It didn't cost very much, so lesson learned. Meinl makes a Great cymbal, but I'll need to get their top of the line splash if it is to added to my kit. It's fine for most anyone for a gig. It really is. It's damn good for the price, but if you're a studio player, stick to the high end stuff. In live performances, it's OK as an extra, but Not the studio. I'm not a snob, but when your equipment needs to sound amazing, not just good, this isn't ideal.
