Bucky 40 Blinks No Pressure Eye Mask for Travel & Sleep

The product itself is wonderful. It helps the user to have a better sleep. It is one of all-time favorite products for self-care! The only issue is their shipping problems. Not sure what happened, but my last two orders have been cancelled without giving me any reason. Wish I knew what the problem was.

My absolute favorite eye mask. Eyelids don't touch mask. It's completely adjustable. Easy to clean.

It is a very lightweight eye mask and definitely blocks out light regardless of the color (I chose navy blue). However it is quite wide for me as a woman [and I don't have a small head either] so I have to tighten up the straps (which are Velcro so this is not a problem). I do like that there is absolutely NO WEIGHT or anything resting on my eyelids though because I have dry eye syndrome and most eye pillows press down on my lids and become uncomfortable after awhile. Hey, if you are a man or have a large head - GET THESE! My husband loves it!

What I like:I can have my eyes open and my eyelashes aren't rubbing against the inside of the mask. For me it's important to open my eyes and see darkness. I think that triggers my brain to release melatonin or say "time to sleep".What I don't like:The strap is stiff and rubs annoyingly on the top of my ears.It isn't easy for me to get the strap "just right". The velcro makes it hard for me to make little micro adjustments in the strap tension. I have an older mask (currently unavailable) from Amazon "mingtong" or "coolingtech" that uses a lightweight buckle tension adjuster. The strap on that one is much softer, easier to adjust and less obtrusive. On the other hand that older mask sits too close to my face and rubs against my eyes when I open them. Ugh.Overall:I'm using the 40 Blinks instead of the old one because of the clearance in front of my eyes. Consider this a "mostly positive" reviewUPDATE - JUNE 2024After 1 year it's started to fall apart. See pics. The soft inner liner is detaching from the foam. I'll have to figure how how to glue it back together and not bother me.Rating going down.

This mask is saving my marriage! My husband has to get up much earlier than I do and his pupals are MUCH smaller than mine, so he can't see to get dressed in the morning without turning lots of lights on. For me, who happens to have very large pupals, this disturbs my sleep instantly and HURTS my eyes. Then I am usually unable to fall back asleep. Which makes me want to throttle him daily! Lol. Now that I have this mask, I don't even know he has gotten up and left most of the time. I have used similar masks in the past, but the cut and design of this one is the best by far. It's a perfect fit around my nose and I LOVE the dome shape over the eyes, preventing pressure on my eyes, which would eventually give me a headache. The mask doesn't even touch my eyelids, so I am still able to sleep with my sleep approved contacts in total comfort. Due to the great fit of the mask, it doesn't require the straps to be tight in order to keep it in place. I wear mine rather loose to prevent pressure pain and have not had a problem with it twisting or sliding out of place at all. I sleep so much harder in the total blackness of the mask and find that if I do wake up in the middle of the night, I fall back to sleep very quickly having all light and sight blocked out. Matter of fact, I think I will order a second one for back up in case I lose this one or forget it when traveling.

Mostly good but linning started to come apart after about 6 months. Also wish the straps were higher up so it didn’t chafe my ears.

I love the deep eye pockets - does not press against your eye lashes, very comfortable.

I have been buying these for years. Lightweight, comfortable. Keeps light out and fits my face well, even with CPAP mask.
