These are very sturdy and have quality weld connections. Requires good carpentry skills if you are going to drill holes for mounting. Holes have to be square to the wall.

Used 1/2 inch drill bit but the bats were slightly larger which made a lot more work. Thinking that the powder coating made them larger and it was so hard to drill out that extra.

Found these shelves and got them for half off because they didn’t have brackets. Bought these off Amazon and have the shelves up! Sorry for the messy desk, but thought pictures would help!

Let me start by saying these shelf brackets seem to be of good over-all quality. They seem sturdy and the pin appears straight and perpendicular to the plate. Now for the issues...I wanted to hang a 1” thick 5.5’ long solid oak shelf. I made all the marks on the wall and then on the back of the board. I took the board to work and had the holes drilled properly and had all the wood removed to countersink the plate. First off, the wall anchors that come with it are worthless. You drill a hole in the drywall and push the anchors in and they move around pretty much freely. (I’d recommend toggle bolts.). Also, the flanges on the anchors provided are too big in diameter and get in the way of the brackets and are visible. what killed me was the two inside holes closest to the pin are just far enough apart that if you find a stud center, basically your two inside screws just graze the stud sides. This causes the bracket to not lay perfectly flat to the wall. You really need to be precise with these brackets and the corresponding holes drilled in the shelf you wish to hang. If a pin isn’t straight, it binds up. If you are off in your measurement by a 1/16th inch, it binds up. Unfortunately, many walls aren’t straight and and the pins will not be perpendicular to the wall after mounting. So in general, the bracket seems of decent quality but hanging them is not easy. Oh yeah. And no instructions were provided. Maybe there was a better way for me to go about using these. Would have been nice to know about it.

These brackets were just what we were looking for! We Used them to make beautiful floating shelves in our bathroom! New brackets showing!

Make sure you do NOT use the anchors and screws that come with these mounts. The anchors are far too long and will not off a smooth surface for the mount. Thus, leaving to the shelf protruding more than it needs to. Any other 3/8 inch anchors will off you a better looking shelf:

I am not great at installing or assembling. . but these were a breeze. Would buy again!
