Is india ink alcohol proof? How does it behave with alcohol ink?

From the JetPen site: "Marks from Faber-Castell PITT Pens become waterproof when dry, so you can add layers over dry areas with PITT Pens or other media. They are also alcohol proof and pair well with alcohol-based markers such as Copics. I looked all over the packaging, which features several languages, and I do not see any info as to whether the ink is acid free or not. It is clearly marked as permanent black ink.
