This is the best seed I've bought.
Growing very well so far. Germination very good. Takes a little longer to germinate than stated but was glad to see it come up strongly and the birds didn't seem interested in eating them at all.

Great Results Even with Patchy Ground!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from these grass seeds, especially as our garden gets a mix of sun and shade and the soil is uneven in places. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised! I sowed them in early spring and within a week or so, I started seeing little green shoots pop up. The grass grew in evenly, filled in some bare patches nicely, and looks lush and healthy now. I watered regularly in the beginning, but it didn’t need too much maintenance. Definitely dog- and kid-approved—stood up well to running feet! Arrived quickly and the instructions on the bag were clear. Would buy again for autumn reseeding.

Slower than advertised but grass has germinated
Grass has germinated but it certainly wasn't in 4 days. It's taken several weeks of care and attention but seems to be doing ok now. Still a little patchy considering how much I used but overall ok

November Grass!
Wanted to review to say this has grown late in the year as I wasnt sure whether to buy now or wait until spring. We put the seed down on 21st October. It was around 12° and rainy for the next few weeks, but night temperatures went as low as 3°. Once down we left it alone and didnt even water it as its been so showery. No top soil either. We just turned the earth and the scattered the seed down. There was no sign anything was happening for 2 weeks - and the photo is on the 17th day (there was no grass here before, only clay soil) I'll try to add another photo when its fully grown in. But seeing it suddenly come up was like seeing snow out the window as a kid. Great grass seed! Great for colder weather!

No growth after two weeks in spring - growth only now at 2+ weeks - 2 Month Final Review
Edit now it is winter - all the new grass has died. Do not recommend this seed. Very dissapointed. Edit after 2 months. Well after a very, very slow start I now have a lovely patch of Grass where these seeds were sewn. It seems a lovely dark colour and appears pretty healthy and thick. So, if you are after something quick, this might not be it, but for me it has eventually worked out very well. Bumping the stars back up. Original Review: Sadly no growth at all after well over a week. I was rather hoping to see something by now. The ground was well tilled, grass seeds planted and raked over. Watered regularly using just rain water and the area has had plenty of sun. Temps have been in double figures during the day too. The box has a lot of text on the back and these daft perforations on the opening but no proper examples of how to use these or how much seed to lay down via a picture which I think would be a help. It's mad how between the cracks of the paving slabs we can never stop grass growing there and it never suffers but a new bit of lawn can be tricky to get going! Will continue to monitor and update accordingly but these are not 'fast start' by any means! Edit after over two weeks: Still no growth at all so its a no from me. Edit after 2 1/2 weeks: we have some small growth popping through. It looks patchy and thin but might work out to cover the area. Still in two minds whether to just right it off and lay a section of turn over the top and be done with it. Edit after a month+: still very thin and patchy. The blades that did grow are now a couple of cms high but there are still so many gaps where nothing has grown. The blades are also very thin and wispy. Does not seem the best quality seed and despite good seed coverage, sun, temps and watering. Can only offer 1 star.
