DEWALT DGL523 Lighted Tool Backpack Bag, 57-Pockets, Black,yellow

I ordered this for my husband to help him keep his tools organized in a more portable way since he is the only "handyman" in my family that is full of nothing but women. He is constantly doing odd and end things for my sisters and mom that range from wood work, mechanical fixes, auto repair among other things. My husband always would grab his duffel bag and throw everything he thought he may need for that "fix" and go. The problem is that he would always have to put his tools back up or they would end up all over our house. This bag has helped tremendously. Every tool has a place to where he can now carry alot of multi-use tools so he can keep everything in one bag and grab the bag for those handyman jobs he is constantly doing. I LOVE this bag for the simple reason it keeps my house clean and his tools in one place when they are inside. The bag is very sturdy and well made with good quality materials and the zippers work great. The weight of the bag with all of his tools is comfortable on his back and the zippers appear to be strong enough to hold up to the weight well. I would recommend this bag to anyone.

I work HVAC/R and I had the old sling style bag and a bucket bag before I bought this. This is by far the best bag I’ve bought in some time. We do a lot of cleanings in the winter and during service calls it’s great that the bag is on my back. I’ve gone into some questionable basements this season (hoarders) and my old bag was extremely hard to maneuver through said tight spaces. It was exhausting and sometimes pretty painful carrying a 30-40lb tool bag in front of your body with no leverage. Fast forward, I’ve had the bag for a month now and wow, it is much easier to get in an out of homes and businesses, I still bring in the bucket, mainly just something to sit on at this point. The designers did a great job in the placement of the pockets and the accessibility is great. It holds all my electrical tools; my multi, a set of bits and a drill in the big compartment. The big compartment fits all your larger pliers also. The from pocket is great for the quick tools, like smaller wrenches, cutters etc. good stuff. I would definitely recommend buying this if you work in the trades or just want an extremely durable professional grade tool backpack. Once I got one everyone in my shop is switching to this or the CLC equivalent (brand preference).

Hands down, this tool bag/backpack is absolutely worth just about whatever it costs. From durability to storage, this backpack offers that and so much more. The built in rotating light is a brilliant idea, especially with the cutout that allows the light to shine inside the bag so you can see everything. Before this backpack, I had several different quality bags that more than did the job. But this backpack is like upgrading from top of the line Honda to a top of the like Lexus. The Honda is amazing and a fantastic car, but it’s not a Lexus. It’s hard these days to get quality and good prices, and even though it’s a tad pricey, this bag fits the criteria of “worth it”

I got this to hold all my tools and have a change of clothes plus my lunch. The light on the top is nothing special and only uses a AAA battery. The backpack is top quality though. 2 years and it's still undamaged despite being rough on it. One zipper is not doing great, but this is a double zipper design so I just zip the other one to the bad zipper on that side. Good product I love it.

I had the Klein backpack that everyone raves about and it just wasn’t enough room to fit most of my tools. This bag has more pockets to keep everything organized and more room to fit loose items in and still be able to close it. I’ve had 2 so far in about 6 years the first one had a rip in the bottom after a couple years of every day use and the 2nd one has the plastic part on the shoulder strap break so now only one works but it is an excellent backpack i would highly recommend if you need space for tools and the ease of carrying with backpack. I would’ve purchased a third one but i decided to try the backpack with the usb charger built in but if that one doesn’t workout I’ll be right back to buy this one again.

I've had mine for 2 years now. Purchased in September of 2022. It has done me great. I've used the light maybe twice, but it holds pretty much all of my hand tools and has stood up to about 100lbs worth of stuff in it the entire time. There's one little area where the stitching has come undone, but it could be sewn back together, I'm just usually not sewing when I'm using this bag.

I have had horizontal tool bags for decades and finally decided to try the backpack style instead. I wish I had used this style about 45 years ago, if they were even around then. I have wasted so much time over the decades digging for tools that were buried under one another. Now with the pockets and display, I can easily find the tool I am looking for. I watched other guys carrying the backpacks onto jobsites and never really paid attention until recently. Now that I'm nearing retirement, I guess the best I can do is pass this wisdom onto others. Don't be a dummy like I was for most of my career.

Dewalt quality is built to last. I was surprised at how much storage this bag has. This bag is just the right size for my use, not too big and not too small. And I was able to put all of my essential tools into it and there is still room available. I like the backpack function instead of the carry bag because I can free up my hands if needed. This is my new go-to bag with mobility when needed. I highly recommend this bag for packing your essential tools for general purposes.

Firstly I've owned this tool bag for a about 2 years, I'm a Commercial plumbing and heating engineer by trade and I'm so glad I found this, it's a brilliant bit of kit. Robust, comfortable and can fit a fair bit of gear inside, my only gripe is the front pocket isn't big enough for all my screw drivers. It gets chucked around sites, chucked in lock boxes, chucked in the van and is still going strong. The straps are so heavy duty and doesn't even seem to have much wear and it has a lot of heavy use, but most of all it's very comfortable to wear when walking around the site or to different sites. Brilliant and wouldn't be with out it. Highly recommend.

Holds all my tools and saves my shoulders from carrying a side bag the front strap helps even out the weight currently have about 60lbs worth of tools in it and it holds up well

Je suis électricienne et j'ai acheté cette caisse à outils car j'en avait assez de porter ma vieille caisse à bout de bras. Elle est parfaite ! Les rangements sont supers pratiques (avant c'était tout en vrac) et elle contient tout ce dont j'ai besoin. La lampe est un peu gadget (mais étanche) mais ce n'est pas pour ça que je l'ai acheté. La qualité est vraiment top et les fermetures sont supers solides malgré l'utilisation intensive que j'en ai. Une fois le sac sur le dos je peux faire un bout de chemin avec sans être gênée par le poids. Je la recommande sans problème.

Sturdy Bag and Light is great as I work night shift. Easy and comfortable to carry even with 20kg's of tools inside. Had it for over 6 months and daily use and it's still in one piece.
