Good choice if you’re going cordless
I have slowly been replacing my old, perfectly functional corded power tools with these Craftsman v20 tools. I still have the corded “ Industrial” reciprocating saw from back in the day which is a Craftsman also. This is not the “industrial” equivalent with a brushless motor, etc. I perceive that it may be just a tad less powerful than the corded saw but I’m older, not using these tools to make a living, the cordless is far more convenient, no extension cord, and it’s easier to change blades…no hex key required. This cordless saw comes with me in the camper for firewood prep. Glad I purchased this saw.

In recent months I have purchased 7 different battery operated craftsman tools.....their weed eater convinced me that they knew what the were doing...I have had one for three years and it's still going strong. Battery operated means I can use it anywhere. I live in the country and at least once a year a large old oak tree will fall. In order to use chain saws safely I always trim off all the smaller branches and cut them up for firewood. This reciprocating saw is perfect for removing limbs & branches...loads of power..not too heavy...and very easy to use.....I highly recommend this saw

hola, me ha funcionado bien para cortar lena y en alguna ocacion removi un estructura metalica cortando tubular de dos por dos con esta cortadora, y me agrada que es compatible con seguetas economicas marca truper que encuentro cerca de mi casa.
