I wouldn’t say this has that vanilla smell like the versele laag equivalent but it does have some of that aroma. The birds seem to enjoy it as well. I have tried a few brands and this is close second. What actually makes this probably now more he brand that I will stick with is price. It’s very reasonable in comparison price wise to some of the other brands I have tried. When you have multiple birds you need to provide quality but at a sensible price and I would at that this ticks those boxes.
