0.5mm Crochet Needle for Dreads - 3Pcs/Set Loc Crochet Needle for Interlocking Dreadlocks (1Hook,2Hook,3Hook)

I use to tidy up my boys hair. I'm no pro, this was all trial N error but they have held up for over a year. I have found that this is the best size for getting those fly aways. Purchased this size in a set of 3 but it broke, the metal came out from the wood. Good stuff!!

My loctician wanted to charge me $150 to interlock 7 locs!!!! Even though my hands are cramped it only took me about an hour or so. The loc came out stiff but hopefully it’ll loosen up over time. And the easiest loc tutorial on YouTube is by Simply Kee Samone, How to combine your locs. She does a great job explaining it. If I can do it, so can you, good luck!

I started and now maintain my locks myself and this is the only brand crochet needle I use! When I started my loc journey around 3 years ago I had extremely short hair and didn't want to go through the 'ugly' phase. I used this needle to add mid-back length extensions to my short locks and have been using it for maintenance every since! The wood finish is gentle on the fingers and the set comes with three needles to choose from. I used the two and three prong needles to crochet the human hair into locs (Youtube was my friend for this) then I use the single prong needle for continuous maintenance. The supplier is extremely responsive and is quick to replace or refund a damaged product. On one occasion the needle I purchased broke soon after I purchased it and I was impressed at how professional the supplier was in having the needle replaced. Get this brand! You won't be disappointed.

I have straight hair and have used these since the beginning of my dreadlocks. Personally, .5mm hooks are great for shaping up your dreads nicely. At a certain point the tips of the hooks become weak and bend and I believe that's due to my dress locking up. Overall, they're good Hooks but I'd recommend the .75mm to avoid ripping of the dread and wasting money on bent hooks.

Exactly what I needed to get my son's locks started on his short hair. Twisting and hopping my 8yr old wouldn't have it undone by the end of the day was a useless wish. This gave me just the right hold to jump start his lock journey. We're a couple months in and I've only used it a few times for maintenance since the 1st install.

These are cheaply made. I was using the single needle and bend it already. I didn't think I was applying that much pressure.

This is great for starting Locs! Can be a bit tedious but it’s worth it in the end. Be careful though. I did poke myself a few times in the finger and had a little blood. What I learned is this: wear band aids or some kind of finger protector and you’ll be just fine!

I like the way the needles fit, it's very comfortable between my fingers. I was able to jump right into making dreadlocks with this product, it was really easy to use. I'm happy I invested in this product because it also offers 3 different needles that help with different size dreadlocks. I would purchase again.

Not as advertised, I received 3 single hooks instead of a double and triple.

One of them arrived completely bent. Ridiculous.
