JJC Aluminum Camera Hand Grip for Sony RX100VI RX100V RX100VA RX100IV RX100III RX100II RX100 Cameras

I likes the extra weight and manageability it gave my little RX100MK7, which it fits well, including the right clearance to access battery and card compartment, the new mic socket, charge socket, but not the hdmi socket on the VII. The quality and finish is very high. In case you wondered, the camera now fits perfectly into the MegaGear leather pouch as well!

Usual JJC quality - exemplary fit and functionality. Great value for money - and you're not, as is the case with some grips, stuck with it.

The side part you grip does not go high enough

Like most JJC products this grip is reasonably well made and does its job at a reasonably low price point. However the 'handle' is to short to provide much improvement in grip and handling on the RX100 vii and so doesn't really help to provide a better grip or control of the camera body. In addition the 'tool' provided to attach and remove the grip is crude and clunky with no obvious way of stowing it for use later making quick removal or mounting of the grip something you have to think about ahead of time.

It's well made but the grip adds significant weight, height and width to the tiny RX100 M7. It also leaves little room for a finger between lens and grip - and I have small hands. Having tried it, I think I will return to the Sony rubber grip as used on my M3.

Purchased for a Sony RX100 VA. It fits the camera well and looks good, whilst adding appreciably to its weight. It's compact enough that I can still use the same small carrying case. As others have commented however, it doesn't extend high enough up the side of the camera to provide the really secure fist grip I'd hoped for. Also, it somewhat impedes access to the battery/card compartment. I shall have to remember not to cut my fingernails too short, so as still to be able to catch and flip open the cover! The chamfered rear member, permitting the camera screen to hinge up cleanly and easily is a neat touch. In the box, besides the grip itself and a screwdriver were two tiny bolts with no discernible use!

It's very well made but it has 1 serious design flaw and that is the side goes over the bottom flap which is for the mini hdmi out so I have to remove the plate everytime I livestream which is a shame because otherwise I'd just leave it on. Maybe the next design they will design something that doesn't cover over that flap

Super pour le sony RX100 VII. Il devient plus facile à tenir et plus agréable à utiliser sans contraintes d'accès.

Ich habe die Grundplatte für meine Sony ZV-1 bestellt. Das nervige Problem an dieser Kamera ist, dass das Stativgewinde sehr nach an der Akku-/SD-Card-Abdeckung liegt. Da ich immer ein Stativ, bzw. eine Schnellwechselplatte druntergeschraubt habe, ist dieses Fach blockiert. Der langsame USB-Anschluss ist für das Herunterladen keine Alternative. Also ist man immer am Hin- und Herschrauben. Mit der neue Grundplatte wird das Gewinde allerdings versetzt. Und durch eine Aussparung kommt man nun bequem an die SD-Card. Das Teil ist zwar etwas teuer, aber über diese Lösung bin ich mega happy, sodass es für mich ok ist! Die Qualität ist auch sehr hochwertig und macht die Kamera spürbar schwerer, was fürs Filmen aber eher von Vorteil ist.

Precis vad som behövs för ett stadigare grepp

La poignée est de bonne construction. Le grip est amélioré. Il s'adapte parfaitement au ZV1. Cependant c'est surtout pour dégager la trappe à batterie lors de l'utilisation d'un trépied que je l'ai acheté. Attention, suivant le type d'attache utilisée, le pas de vis n'est pas assez éloigné. Seulement 23mm de décalage. Avec le plateau de mon trépied ce n'était pas suffisant. J'aurai pu utiliser un pas de vis situé sur la poignée, pour la fixation verticale et pivoter le plateau à 90°. Mais mon plateau ne pivote pas du bon côté. Prenez garde au matériel que vous comptez utiliser. Sinon je trouve que c'est un bon produit. PS: Perso, ayant une imprimante 3D, j'ai bricolé un petit adaptateur pour éloigner un peu plus le pas de vis... (dans le rond orange sur la photo)
