Amazing product, but pricey
This product worked wonders for me and I would 100% recommend. I caught a flight home whilst I was slightly congested and my ears became fully blocked. I had suffered with blocked ears for a week and visited the Doctor Who prescribed me antibiotics however these did not help and I was becoming very restless and anxious in trying to find a way to rectify this I was upset and frustrated as I couldn’t hear a thing and thought this was something I would have to live with. I bought this product as I had nothing else to lose. I was sure it wouldn’t work. However after the first go my ears popped and I was able to hear again I was so relieved anyone who is suffering from middle ear or fluid past the eardrum I would definitely recommend this product. My ears aren’t 100% but they’ve gone from 15% to now 85%. The package tells you to use this product for three weeks which I will continue to do so and will bring it with me when I go on any future travels. Highly recommend.

It seems to be useful just awkward to get a seal
UPDATE: The balloon burst with bang on the 4th day of use, some are supplied, but refills are a silly price for basic latex balloons. It seems to be useful just awkward to get a seal.Takes some poressue on the nose to get a seal on a mans nose.I waited 7 months to get an ENT appointment to be told to buy this, will let my GP know a simple solution exists.Basically it is a plastic ball with a balloon attached and you blow it up with your nose.Recommended by the ENT consutant at the NHS. They don’t prescribe them.

Helps with “Glue ear”.
Purchased this on the recommendation of a NHS audiologist. Did not hold out much hope but surprisingly it made a significant improvement to my hearing. Not a 100% improvement but I am persevering for the recommended period.

Unsure
Recommended by my doctor to clear blocked ears. Used a number of times but not sure it popped my ears. Very easy to use. No pain when using.

Hearing returned!
I bought this for my daughter because she had 30% hearing loss and doctor suggested trying this whilst waiting for next ENT appointment. We were told my daughter would need hearing aids so this was very much a last chance scenario. My daughter was 15 at the time and was struggling in GCSE year to hear properly in school and social situations. She struggled first to use this as it’s quite difficult to use but after her second time using it her ear seemed to almost pop and her hearing improved. We have had her ENT appointment since and her eardrums are now doing what they should be and we were told she doesn’t need hearing aids!Definitely recommend!!!

No Effect for Me, But May Work for Others
I purchased two boxes of the Otovent Adult Autoinflation Device hoping to find relief for what I suspected was glue ear or otitis media with effusion. The concept seemed promising, offering a non-invasive way to potentially alleviate pressure and symptoms.I followed the instructions diligently, using the device as recommended over an extended period. Unfortunately, after consistent use of both boxes, I personally experienced no discernible effect or improvement in my condition. My symptoms remained unchanged, and I didn't feel any of the pressure equalisation or relief that others have reported. While it didn't work for me, it's important to note that medical devices can have varying results depending on the individual and the specific nature of their condition. Given the positive reviews from some users, it's possible that this device might be beneficial for others with different circumstances or degrees of their ear issues. However, based purely on my own experience, I cannot recommend it as an effective treatment for my situation. If you're considering it, perhaps consult with a healthcare professional to see if it's suitable for your specific needs.
