I'm thankful I didn't pay attention to the negative comment. In fact, I found it to be great for the money, and perfect for our needs.The hot pot and pot handles themselves were thick and good quality, as well as the base. The forks are sturdy and easy to use. The fuel holder was a thinner stainless as expected.We chose this because of the size, and that it uses fuel, and not electricity and the dangerous electric cord around the table. I'll never do electric again.We love to eat Chinese and Japanese hot pot with meat and vegetables, and this was the perfect, perfect table size. Using for chocolate fondue is it's secondary use.Yes, we would buy it again. Perfect for the money and the perfect size.

Fondue party was a hit.

I bought 2 of these because they were inexpensive but looked great. And that is what I got. Inexpensive and Pretty.Sadly, they did not meet any other expectations.The negative:1) No instructions for the burners.2) The burners do not work! They actually created a volcano effect and scorched my chocolate and cheese within moments of lighting them. Within seconds of lighting, I heard my fondue start popping and crackling. (I worked really hard on those recipes and had houseguests to feed. In order to have fondue and not needing to order pizza for my fondue party!!!… I ended up putting them on the stove top to warm up the fondue at various times during my party, instead of using the burners. I could’ve done this with any pot. I was not expecting to have to “cook” fondue on my stovetop all night.3) The steel is very cheap. I had to remove the tops due to the dangerous sharp edges.4) I guess you get what you pay for. Unfortunately I will be returning these. I need functional fondue pots, not just inexpensive aesthetically pleasing fondue pots.The positive:1) They arrived quickly2) They are pretty.3) Easy to set up.

These pots are made from a very thin material like aluminum instead of stainless steel. The burners are cheaply made and will not stay lit when filled with gel fuel. I had to leave the top half of the burners off in order for them to burn, leaving all the fuel exposed dangerously with a wide flame. Additionally, the fork handles get quite hot when you cook fondue with them.

This is a great set a met all of my expectations. I love the quality and that the pot was so easy to clean. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the warmth is because, as with any fondue pot, since it is heated by sterno, it is a little difficult to control the temp but the heat adjustment made that easier.

Four cheese chocolate even marinated meat it works great and cleans up great I would like to get another one when I get in stock for a wedding gift

In the photo's this fondue pot looks very nice. I was expecting a good quality fondue pot.I was very disappointed when it arrived and was not very good quality. The pot did not look or feel like a good stainless steel, instead felt like tin. The forks that came with the set were also very poor quality.I returned it and bought a cast iron one in Crate and Barrel for the same price.
