2 more specifically answer your question about low volume headphones Colin these are headphones that do have a high end and the low end with a great distance between them so you do get a lot of variety between the low volume and the high volume. Whereas the high volume does give you a lot of bass I found that the travel tended this grounded out a little bit Tama and the low end volume was quite clear without distorting or masking any sounds either. Over all I thought it was a decent attempt at a good Bluetooth headset with modern Bluetooth technology. I give it 4 out of 5 stars

How good is this headphone in blocking the mechanical keyboard or typing noises?

It will block some of it because it blocks your ears, but the noise cancelling feature will only block continuous noise like a fan, refrigerator, or airplane engine. An over-the-ear headset would do a better job, but I'd advise you to just get a quieter keyboard. Logitech has some nice ones.

I get interference from my microwave with these. i understand microwaves operate at 2.4 ghz and these are supposed to be 5.0. what's up with that?

I do too.. I just pause it or move away from the microwave 🤷🏻♀️
