EZ-FLO 40271 Universal Toilet Tank Replacement Cover, White

An employee dropped our ceramic toilet lid and it broke into pieces. The toilet is either old or unmarked so I couldn't find any identifying info to search for a replacement. I felt like none of the measurements were matching up, plus they were expensive and local plumbing stores only offered a full new tank with lid not the lid alone. I decided to try this and am very happy with my purchase! Granted, it's plastic, but it fits, it's flat (unlike ceramic lids that are curved on top), and I don't have to see the inside of the toilet tank anymore, all for a decent replacement price. Mine sat on top fine without the screw ins, I found those hard to place and mostly unnecessary. I like that it's off white color seems to blend well with the off white of the toilet. Overall, pretty happy with it.

Affordable alternative if you cannot find a replacement lid. I had to make some adjustments to the flushing arm because this sits flat across the tank causing the arm to hit against the top when flushed.

We are really impressed with this product. Easy to fit to the tank, very secure and the raised lip on the edge is a plus.

I should have read the negative reviews first, this is not universal its cheap plastic that is way overpriced. This was to small for my tank, totally useless. Save your money 💰

As a rental property owner, I find this product to be a life saver. I must be unusual in that I have never broken the tank cover on a toilet in 50 years of home ownership. OK, that's not part of the review. Finding a tank cover to fit toilets manufactured earlier than 10 years before the date they are broken is a serious problem and costly when you find one. I find this inexpensive unit works well and provides a flat surface useful for toiletry item storage. Spacers and screws provided with the unit will permit you to adjust the unit so it fits fairly snugly on the tank. While not as attractive as a porcelain, the price is reasonable and it serves its purpose well.

Great easy to follow instructions on back side of toilet lid box, on how to locate the 6-plastic slotted tabs to center the toilet tank lid perfectly on your toilet 🚽 tank. After my 1989 original toilet tank lid shattered into many pieces after hitting my tile floor! I was looking for something safer & lighter to replace my original tank lid. The bottom outer raised ridge makes a natural looking lid replacement. The raised upper edge makes a great shelf which prevents items from sliding off easily. Was happy I didn't have to replace my toilet knowing that finding a 1989 old style tank lid would be almost impossible! I thought it was a great value. And it cleans easy with a mild soap, & cold or warm water. Very user friendly 😀

For the price this piece of plastic is NOT worth it. Honestly, would not consider this universal in the 21st century, because whose toilet is this big anymore? It was very long on my toilet but not wide enough, especially with the screws in. It was also ugly and was not steady. I recommend just buying the actual lid for your toilet, they're not much more expensive and they'll actually fit. Even having no lid might be better than this expensive piece of plastic.

I like this product5******. I had a porcelain top for the toilet tank and it crack 2 places. When it cracks it has sharp ends and it can be dangerous. By accident I had two cuts at 2 places. I decide to find something at any hardware store. But when I went to visit the hardware store. I said to the sale person " DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING FOR MY TOILET TANK." THE SALESPERSON SAID" WE DO NOT SALE SEPARATE PARTS. YOU NEED TO BUY THE WHOLE TOILET". I SAID " I DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS FOR THIS. I DECIDED TO TRY AMAZON THEY HAD THE SPARE PART. I buy the spare and I put it to together and I put on my toilet tank. I would have to say" it looks very nice". I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR REVIEWS IT HELP ALOT AND ONE REVIEW GAVE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER. SO AGAIN THANK YOU

It does the job of covering the tank. But it's clumsy

The product information showed the size to be 9x9x22, which in actual fact it’s 21 1/8 x. 7 3/4. Very disappointing, it was cheap and would have done the job if only it fit !!!
