HutzlerSalad Saver, Green

I love this HUTZLER product. It is very well made, and the lid is super, as it's semi hard / semi soft. Therefore it is easy to get off. And the bottom half is of nice thickness of plastic. It's c very attractive also. The only thing , I do wish it was a bit bigger, as I tend to buy large heads of lettuce. But for this salad saver, I'll buy smaller heads to keep them fresh.I recommend this item.

We use this container for fresh spinach and it extends the life of the spinach outside of the store packaging. I love the shape and the novelty as it makes eating healthy less lame (I love veggies, but sometimes it gets boring for me) and helps me to reach for “good” stuff In the fridge. Container is on the smaller side, so we may get another for our other fancy lettuce.

I was really excited for this product to arrive. When I started to put my lettuce I. It I realized I would have to core it and even then I had to press the lettuce down for the top to o go on. Should be a little bit bigger.

I really like this bowl but it’s a bit small and doesn’t fit an average head of lettuce

I bought this due to the lettuce would go bad fast in the refrigerator with this we notice it last longer than expected. And you can use as anything besides lettuce. It’s a good purchase for me.

Works great with bagged lettuce or head of lettuce.

As cited in other reviews, this very cute green lettuce saver is too small for most sizes of lettuce. We buy 3-packs of romaine and the leaves simply would not fit into this product. I ordered another, larger one. Deciding whether to keep this one for spinach or return it. It's a shame because we love the look of this one. Heads up to manufacturer -- please make another, larger version!

I bought this cuz of the "cute" factor. Don't waste your money! Keeps nothing fresh, everything gets wet from condensation inside, rusts and lettuce doesn't keep. I even put a paper towel inside, and that was wet. Lid just pushes on, apparently it's not a tight seal, and air can get in. Very disappointed. Would have returned it, but I didn't use it right away due to Covid, and not being able to buy fresh, and window was closed for return in 30 days!

Es muy bonito práctico es para una lechuga grande cierra muy bien y ahí preparas tu ensalada y luce genial a la hora de comer,conserva muy bien la lechuga ya preparada lo recomiendo .

I'm very impressed by this product. It extends the life of lettuce by a month, and even then browning is just begining. Fast delivery great price --- two thumbs up.

Far too small.I assumed it would hold,at least,an medium sized lettuce.Alas,this is not the case.

The lettuce seems to rust (go reddy brown) quite easily. I thought it would be better with the built in drainage, but alas not. The container is also unstable and tends to topple over quite easily. Otherwise it is quite a solid peace of plastic.
