Good for eyesight.
I have purchased this product from Puritan Pride for many years. It is good for your eyesight. This year, however, Puritan Pride did NOT offer this product on their website and instead offered it on Amazon. That worried me as to future availability. I bought an entire years worth for my consumption.

It really works!
I’ve been using this product for five months after reading of its eye health benefits. I’ve gotten my mother and father to take it as well. I have to say that it really works in improving your vision, especially night vision; it sharpens it more than anything. I ran out of these and didn’t take them for three weeks and you can tell the difference. I wear glasses I am able to see smaller font better (at a distance) when I takeBilberry and gingko Biloba. I also read it’s good for preventing and managing eye diseases so I will continue taking them.On a slightly different note, I also take Gingko Biloba with this supplement and it has caused my lactose intolerance to lessen almost entirely; it’s bizarre but this is alongside gingko is the only thing I’ve been taking and changed my symptoms. I don’t get bloated, cramps, etc. I am sure it’s bilberry and gingko because I stopped taking it for a while (like I mentioend) and the symptoms returned. So, I highly recommend them!

Remarkable improvement in my vision
My vision was a victim of the Covid work at home - after having the same prescription for 15 years, I noticed about 8 months into working from home where I know I don't take enough breaks to look off into the distance that my vision had changed. I went in to the ophthalmologist and sure enough my vision had worsened and she gave me a new stronger prescription. I asked her to also give me my old prescription in case I was able to improve my vision. She was skeptical but did that for me.Enter this particular bilberry supplement. Three weeks ago I started taking 3 pills a day, morning, noon and night so I could consistently feed my eyes. In a week the first thing I noticed was the world became more saturated with color - colors were more intense and I could see more shades. I wouldn't have said this was a problem for me before, but I noticed a difference and loved it. However, after a week my vision hadn't gone back to my original prescription. But! starting in the second week, I would notice at times my vision was back to normal. I should mention I kept wearing my original contact and glasses prescription, I never wore the new prescription. Now I am just finished with week three of taking this supplement 3x/day and I am thrilled. My vision is not only back to 100% the way it was before, but colors are still more vibrant, and I am fairly sure if I went in and tested my vision would be at 20/15 - it is the best it has been in years.I don't understand how this supplement works but for certain it has for me. If you are faced with the a similar situation, this supplement is absolutely worth a try before you start using a new prescription. Good luck!

My cornea got thickened
So I read some article on the internet and it said it’s good for your eyes. Either dry eye or something else. At that time, I was seeing an eye doctor to see if I could get lasik to get my Vision corrected. He told me my cornea is too thin to move forward with lasik, but also told me to come back in a month to see if my cornea changes. Surprise surprise, so I took this supplement for a month, went back to the doctor, he couldn’t believe how my cornea got thickened. But because he did not know why it got thickened so much and still didn’t let me do lasik(I also have dry eyes). I told him that I took this supplement but he didn’t even believe it despite the fact my cornea got thickened. He was just surprised how different my cornea looked. I didn’t feel any improvement though(still had dry eyes, my astigmatism wasn’t better, my vision was not improved). But it does something!

Puritan's Pride 1000 mg Bilberry Herbal Supplement 180 Softgels -- Soybean and Gelatin
This is an herbal supplement stated to maintain eye health and it is something I have used for years. I like to think it is helping to keep my eyes healthy but have no definitive proof. I am familiar with this brand although this is the first time I have purchased their bilberry supplement. I take one capsule a day and after using it for the last three weeks I experienced no negative reactions. The softgels are medium/large measuring 3/4 inch.Because the back label is not pictured on the product page and the information is necessary for decision making I am including the ingredient list. In addition to bilberry the capsules contain soybean oil, gelatin, vegetable glycerin, soy lecithin and less than two percent of natural caramel color and yellow beeswax. So, for people avoiding soy products or are vegan or vegetarian (gelatin) the ingredients may present an issue. The expiration date on the bottles I ordered are 30 months in the future.

Good product
This is exactly what I wanted. A little expensive vs. others. Delivery was terrible ! I had given up on it. I ordered a different similar product with very quick delivery. I planned on canceling this order once the alternative showed up. Both products showed up in the same box. Iguess I'm set for a while.

A gift purchase for mother-in-law--no complaints
The supplements were good to the best of my knowledge. This was a gift purchase for my mother-in-law. God is good (Matthew 19:17). He sent Jesus to die for lost sinners that they might be saved (John 3:16). Sinners are finally saved when they (a) believe in Jesus as the Son of God (John 3:16); (b) repent of their sins (Acts 2:38); (c) confess their faith in Christ with their mouths (Romans 10:10); and (d) are baptized "for the remission (removal) of their sins" (Acts 2:38).
