Best invention since sliced bread.
I love this great device. I always had to use 7-8 sheets of toilet paper to prevent (OVERFLOW), and this device stops that. For the price of toilet paper, it pays for itself in 179 days.I am finally able to show any past or future buyers of this Splash Guard the proper way to use it for 5 star results. 1. Take a one quart freezer bag and cut a strip 1 - 1/2" wide by 4-1/2: long in the middle of the back of it. 2. Take a 2 liter bottle of soda and cut it so that the middle of the bottle where it is smooth fits in the bag. 3. Put the Splash Guard in the bag behind the plastic soda piece. 4. Either staple or tape the bag closed on top. 5. You need an elongated toilet with an open front. 6. It completely encloses the front of the seat so that nothing runs out. 7. I use 2 sheets of paper toweling in case I don't put it on right. 8. For an extra 2" high I bought an extra seat and I put 1" toilet seat risers in it and tied them together with 2 sided Velcro. The first picture shows how I had to fasten my grab bar to the wall. P.S. When I am done, I take 4 sheets of toilet paper and push them down the Splash Guard to wipe it so that nothing drips on the floor and then I take several more pieces of toilet paper to wipe the Splash Guard when I take it off the toilet in case that I missed any the first time. Most of the time the first wipe does the job.

Not for fat people.
This is NOT for fat people. Also, now that I have it ,It's a poor design and not made for all toilets.

Lots of promise in design, but needs changes to be functional
I like the overall design which is what drew me to it. Thought is would be lighter weight and easier to keep clean for the kid I work with. In the very first use I tested it. It didn't want to hold to the seat but when I used it it rested against my belly and was fine. *after sanitizing* I tested with the kid and he put it on just fine but within seconds his stream was so powerful and it had no room to go that it spilled the sides and top. He is a bigger kid for his age and it didn't fit between his legs well. He was giggly and fine with it but I was left cleaning him, the floor, his clothes, the toilet. I decided that if it fails on first use that I wouldn't put his mom through that and chose to return it. It has a lot of potential tl it changes and options need to be made on it. Like a bigger cup depth for one for heavy streamers. I opted for the well known design that I was trying to get away from. That ugly white splash guard that is so common yet hard to clean. This looked like a good change from that. *needs better spring/holding design, deeper cup depth, leg space and form options for different needs/bodies, needs something to prevent top spillage even if just a little lip...just to be functional.

potty training must have!!!!
This has been a life save! We have a special needs son and we use this when he goes potty. It works amazing and isn't a permanent fixture so we can take it with us when we go out.
