this is an absolutely incredible instrument. It cut through a 1.5 inch branch as if it was a sharp as you’re cutting through a piece of paper. Perfect ergonomics, and great blade. I could not be happier. It’s just the right size for cutting those smaller branches off trees. Truly makes it feel effortless.

I used the Fiskars Garden Bypass Lopper and Tree Trimmer to tidy up the branches of a tree that were brushing against the side of my townhouse. The sharp blade made quick work of the task, and its sturdy build gave me confidence as I worked. The leverage of the Iskars Garden Bypass Lopper and Tree Trimmer was evident when I effortlessly cut through thicker branches without feeling fatigued. Its long handles provided ample leverage, making each cut feel smooth and controlled. I do feel that the ergonomics of this tool are very evident as I felt no discomfort or strain in my hands or arms even when putting extra pressure to cut down thicker limbs. The comfortable grip allowed me to maintain a secure hold on the lopper, ensuring precise cuts without any slipping. Thanks to the bypass cutting action, each branch was cleanly severed without any crushing or splintering, This feature gives me confidence that the trimmed branches will normally regrow properly, but in this case they may not as my tree won’t regrow limbs unless there is still green left on the branch.

My grandson who helps me around the house loves this! I’m 70 and have no problems using it..I love that I can cut things down on my own. Great quality and it’s weight is manageable for me as well!

This lopper is sharp and not too heavy. The blade is curved, and it is sometimes difficult to maneuver it under a branch.

These are great, work very well, very sharp! I used these a lot for my fall hedge trimming. It's a nice in-between for around 3/4" limbs and up, where my lighter extendable long arm standard hedge pruners struggle with thicker branches, and where a chain saw is not practical or needed.

One of my best purchase for yard work. Very sharp and easy to use. It's sturdy and should last a long time if use correctly.

I read the bad reviews first, then ordered these and held my nose, as I’m clearing about 1,500 feet of forest for a large path for a tractor and full size pickup, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. Thick dense woods combo of large medium and small trees. Let’s just say that whatever fits in the jaw goes down easy. I’m 6 feet2 inch tall, large upper body and strength, so the wide open jaw start does not affect me as would a smaller person, so consider that. I’m 59.5 years old. Awesome loppers, especially for the larger 2 inch small trees and saplings. I sprayed with silicone first, to keep them clean and operating smooth, then went to town… I can’t believe the speed and cut down hundreds of trees, did not even scratch these things. if you break these you must be doing something stupid. They will not disappoint!
