These are not t - ball balls. These are hard base balls used in all other baseball leagues besides t-ball.

Is there room in the bucket for extra balls, and if so approximately how many?

Maybe enough room for 4-6 more. I put them into a 5 gallon pail w/ our other balls. Also, my son is a HS senior with small college hitting ability and these balls were totally destroyed after a few BP sessions. Youth usage only!!!!
