Did anyone else have a horrible plastic smell to this when opened?

I think there was a strong plastic smell. I wouldn’t categorize it as horrible though. It went away in a little while

I read an article that Singapore recalled the animal boucers due to some toxic in material.wonder if this been inspected for safety for kids?

dont know. but, christmas 2013 it was a gift and my husband blew it up for our great grandson that was 15 months old at the time he hopped on it from one end of the room to the other... then the other grands and great grands were all hopping on it too.... and with in 2 hours it was leaking and in the garbage can!! so probably did have it long enough for anyone to get contaminated!?!?!?!

I need to patch a hole in this. What is the material specifically so i can purchase the right type of patch?

I do not know contact the company you purchased it from and ask them what’s best to use. FYI, a patch kit for it might just cost you as much as just buying a new one?
