The items looks good , found it to be a bit flimsy in construction but when filled with earth it was fine .

I took this out of the box to find that the bottom ring of this 'burntwood' planter was so badly chipped that it couldn't be given as a present to my daughter. Overall it looked extremely cheap and nasty and had little to no durability, so completely unfit for purpose and with the chipped wood already peeling off is not even decorative. I contacted the seller who advised me I could return it (at my own expense) or supply them with photos to give them an opportunity to address the damage with their courier, even though the damage was actually caused by the 'burntwood' effect which rendered the wood so frail that it was chipping at the slightest touch. Return postage too expensive to be worth returning and I can't be bothered to take photos and continue wrangling with the seller who couldn't help but be aware that the poor quality of this planter could only result in customer dissatisfaction. Rubbish waste of money.

Bit disappointed really. Wood is flimsy, planter is full of black soot and doesn’t really pass for a real barrel. I guess it could be used as a pot but I’d be embarrassed to have it showing.
