This is made with a durable material -thick- and is also nice looking. The height and diameter measurements listed are correct. It Only Holds 2 & 1/2 Cups of dry kibble. (Amount measurement listed is not correct!) That said, I'm thankful for other Amazon Reviewers that noted the discrepancy, so I was able to get this FANTASTIC BOWL! It even fits securely in a raised bamboo stand.The design is great because it slows my dog down and kinda makes it a puzzle for him to go after his food. I'm impressed with the thickness and the balance of the material and design. It's very sturdy and I believe it will last many years. I like the colors. The cutouts to position your hands make it easy to get out of the stand ir off the floor.My dog use to hack and choke before this bowl. It slows him down so he can swallow without choking. Now this sounds funny but it's true... He farts way less! Lol! I guess he isn't gulping down lots of air anymore.BTW, the bowl arrived on time and well well packaged.If you need your pooch to slow down as he/she eats, this bowl will do the trick! It's sturdy and well made and it's really good looking too!So overall, I highly recommend this product and this seller.

This is our third slow feeder bowl - the first one was a bit too convoluted for our pup, a female Golden Retriever, it was the magenta colored one from Outward Hound, the grooves looked to resemble a flower and it was not sturdy at all - to the point where it could easily be tipped over. The second one was from Dogit and it was much sturdier and less convoluted, but our pup finished her food in about a minute (because it was not convoluted enough), which is better than the 20sec she’d take inhaling her kibble from a traditional bowl, but still, too fast.This one is just right - the bowl itself is a little less sturdier than the one from Dogit, but definitely much sturdier than the one from Outward Hound and the grooves are made so it’ll take your pup at the very least 2min or longer to eat their kibble. Unless your pup somehow figures it out, it’s highly unlikely that the bowl will be tipped/flipped over, unlike the lighter ones from Outward Hound. We give our pup 2 cups of kibble and it all fits nicely in the bowl. Out of the three slow feeder bowls we’ve tried, this is the best one yet - I just wish the seller offered the other colors on Amazon, as only White is available, but it is easy to clean!

This bowl is a lifesaver for my anxious dog. She is a rescue, has a lot of anxiety around food, and tends to eat way too fast. I got this bowl hoping to help slow her down, and it definitely did the job. It forces her to slow down and calm down while eating and has worked so well that we are transitioning her back to her old bowl, and she is eating much better. It's easy to clean and very durable!

My yellow lab used to inhale his food (2 cups mostly dry) in under 30 seconds and then wretch for a few hours. After researching the cause, I realized I needed to slow his intake to keep him healthy. This bowl does that beautifully. It is much heavier than one I tried before purchasing this one, which is good. It’s easy to clean and is attractive. It now takes my lab almost 4 minutes to eat! The reason for a 1 star deduction is that it is billed as being able to hold 4 cups. It couldn’t possibly hold four cups of the dry dog food we use and still work as a puzzle bowl as the extra 2 cups would be mounded over the top. Maybe it could hold 4 cups of canned food, but even that might be a stretch. For us, for a true puzzle bowl, 2-2.5 cups of dry food is perfect.

Slowed my dogs eating down. He now doesn’t need it and eats normally

I have 2 dogs that eat so fast they will vomit. It is impossible to eat fast with this bowl. It’s heavy and wide. It’s well balanced and has soft rubber feet to make it stable and less likely to move. My dogs don’t have a choice but to slow down. My dog with a short nose has to eat extra slow because the channels are deep and that’s a good thing. She has a very sensitive stomach and will stay sick for a long time once she gets a tummy ache. We have had one for our older dog for years. We ordered one in a different color for our puppy and the original bowl looks just as good as the new bowl. You will not regret this purchase.

My dogs would wolf through their meal. I thought for sure that can’t be healthy! I saw these bowls and knew I had to test them out. 3 of the 4 dogs like them. One has issues licking up her food LOL!!! Great bowls! Well made!!!

This sturdy bowl served its purpose well to teach my Great Pyrenees pup to eat more slowly.
