Great introduction on our values and faith!
Perfect book that reflects our reality! It did a great job providing simple answer and reinforcing the Muslim way of life. It is indeed not easy for kids not to receive a clear answer, and the book explained it very welI. It made it easier for our kid to understand and talk about it. Definitely a great way to introduce the topic. Hats off to the author for finding the right angle. Strongly recommend.

Love it!
My LOs BFF is Muslim so this is a great book to explain to her why she eats differently than we do. Simple to understand and very nice illustrations. Even if we didn’t have a Muslim friend this is a necessary book to widen any child’s understanding of different cultures.

Great book in general
My kids were very intrigued by the title. The actually read it by themselves many times. My 8 year old was content with the explanation. Like a lot of things, we don’t really know why... hypothetically there might be some. My almost 11 year old was more curious and asked more questions afterwards. So we had a very healthy conversation about it and about how we need to respect others choices and religious beliefs. All of which was discussed in the book too.

Love it! Love the illustration and explanations
Looked into many books and glad I picked this one to help my baby understand Islam! I think it’s nice that there is a children’s book about this.
