Bought this for my kid to use so he wasn't asking for the white noise app on my phone. It's nice and portable and the charge seems to last a while. The 3 lullaby sounds are all pretty similar but I prefer the water-type sounds anyway. The blue nightlight is super bright but there's a switch to turn it off if you like.

UPDATE: After using this nightly for nine months I'm adding a star for longevity. This little machine works as well as it did when new, and the rechargeable battery continues to hold a charge, unplugged, all night. The sound choices are still annoying but I chose one I can live with and I leave it there. Months after purchase I discovered the "power off" option, which is handy for travel as it's easy to accidentally tap the "on" button as as I learned on an overseas flight when bird noises came from the overhead bin. ;) This sound machine is far from perfect but for the money it's a good buy.---------I've used this nightly for about two weeks and it still works. Other thoughts:Pros-Small, great for travel-Fairly loud if you want that-A full charge keeps it going all night while unplugged-Recharges quickly-InexpensiveCons-Most of the sound options are useless--the lullabies are annoying and the "birds" sound fake-There's a red light while charging (okay) but when fully charged the blue light stays on all the time. Research says blue light is the worst for sleeping so this makes no sense.-I'm a bit annoyed that the seller tried to bribe me into a 5 star review, against Amazon policy.

I like that it is rechargeable which makes it more mobile for travel. Sounds are nice though I only really use the ocean sound. There is a noticeable glitch when it loops again which can be annoying. The volume adjustment is terrible. Have to press and hold up/down volume button to change but it changes really fast so it is hard to fine tune the right volume. Same button is used to change the sound (ocean, birds, rain forest) but with a single tap. Power button easily gets stuck under case housing so doesn't work very well. Timer is not remembered from the last time it was used. I like to just listen to white noise for an hour while going to sleep every night but I have to set timer again every night. Not hard but annoying detail that should not be necessary.

The middle button/power button is fragile. Do not let kids touch this or it will break. You barely touch the buttons, or they get stuck.

This was compact and light weight and i was happy to have it. But after a few weeks of use the on-off button started to stick. And after a couple months of use the on-off button broke entirely. Really disappointed.

Highly recommended product for babies.my newborn really like this he enjoy every moment of this.The sounds are very smooth and gentle.very small and fit every space you can locate it.A must product.

This white noise machine has been a God send. We have a baby that is very sensitive to noise when napping. With this sound machine emitting the white noise she has been able to take longer naps. The sound machine has several nature sounds and lullabies. We appreciate the fact that it has a built in timer that you can preset so the sound machine can turn itself off after a bit. It came with a charging cable as well. I would recommend this to any new parent...

I like it’s compact size and good sound. And it is easy to use. White noise machine is must have for newborns. It really helps them to adapt to the world after mommy’s womb)
