BETTER Quality FAT extracted without using HEXANE!
I like the TANGY and COMPLEX flavor. The emulsification consistency was fine. It tastes most similar to Duke's but it has a DEEPER depth of FLAVOR.So far I've used it to make Tartar sauce, Chipotle Aioli mayo, Horseradish sauce, Tuna salad and Turkey club sandwiches. It tasted GREAT when used in those applications. The EXTRA flavor in this Mayo is from its unique use of Garlic and Onion powder that adds a nicely balanced seasoning.I would prefer if BETTER Body Foods would use pasture-raised eggs, ( instead of the meaningless cage-free conventional type) they would provide BETTER nutrition.I selected this Mayo to AVOID inexpensive GMO bean and seed oils These non organic bean and seed crops are routinely sprayed repeatedly with glyphosate during their growth, and again at their harvest, where it's used as a desiccant to speed up the crops time till harvesting. Their oil extraction process uses Hexane and heat ("Heating causes the oil to undergo a series of chemical reactions like oxidation, hydrolysis and polymerization that alters the oils chemical structure.") for efficient oil extraction. The pesticide residue (Trace residue can be carcinogenic ) and oxidation artifact removal processes now necessary, creates unpleasant odors and tastes, requiring further refining and deodorizing. This processing doesn't produce BETTER food.If you're watching your calories be careful because Avocado Mayo contains 110 calories per tablespoon, although that's quite similar to regular Mayo's, it has about 2 to 3 times more calories as the 35 to 50 calories found in most light Mayo's made with soybean or canola oil. Because this Avacado oil mayo is rich, creamy and densely flavorful you can just use 50 % less to keep the calories down and still be satisfied.According to many highly respected cardiologists, lipidologists, and credentialed dietitians, Omega-6 oils aren't all bad. It's just when they reduce or replace Omega-3 oils in their entirety that it becomes an issue. Inferior conventional omega-6 oils are used in highly processed foods because they are cheaper and increase profitability to the food manufacturer. Organic monounsaturated higher quality expeller pressed omega-6 oils are okay as long as you are also getting adequate levels of omega-3s in your diet, and not allowing them to be completely replaced by the more dominant use of many inferior Omega-6 Fats used in most highly processed foods currently produced! For a Mayo with a good Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio, combined with a high level of desirable monounsaturated fat, comparable to what's found in Avocado oil Mayo, I recommend Using Organic COLD EXPELLER PRESSED Canola oil, it would be a BETTER choice, but it wouldn't be any less expensive and you'd have to make it yourself. I did a search for it, but I couldn't find any!FOR COMPARISON:Avocado oil Mayo has a poor omega-6 to omega-3 ratio of 13:1, not IDEAL! Olive oil is 10:1, Soybean oil is 9:1, and Canola seed oil is 2:1, that's much BETTER and closer to IDEAL!To IMPROVE this Avocado oil mayo's poor 13:1 omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio, Better Body Foods should consider using a blend of 50% ORGANIC COLD EXPELLER PRESSED CANOLA OIL that has a 2:1 ratio, it would make the overall Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio BETTER at +/- 6:1 combined , while retaining its superior monounsaturated fat profile ! That would make this very good alternative to conventional Mayo closer to being truly a "BETTER BODY" FOOD!The 28oz. size of BETTER BODY FOODS Mayo is a little more than twice the regular price of conventional GMO canola seed or GMO soy bean oils Mayo's. The much higher cost of Avocado oil warrants the premium price of Better Body Foods mayo, because It contains non-organic fat that's been established through medical research, to be a more healthy monounsaturated fat, it also avoids the unwanted GLYPHOSATE (for weed control) and HEXANE (for oil extraction). Both are potentially toxic and inflammatory byproducts that All CONVENTIONAL seed and bean oil Mayo's typically contain. All seed oils are not bad just the ones that are grown, harvested and extracted using chemicals that produce unwanted byproduct residue! I want to AVOID THEM, so this product accomplishes that making it a BETTER choice!

LIP-SMACKING FLAVOR AND SUPERIOR TO REGULAR MAYONNAISE WITHOUT USING SOYBEAN OIL!
NO SOY!I've been using this product as a traditional mayonnaise substitute for a year and never looked back. For anyone who loves real mayonnaise with pure ingredients, but also likes a bit of tang to the taste, then this is a superb version worth trying. Being very soy-sensitive, I discovered this brand when I could no longer eat soy in any form in any food or vitamin/supplement product. Unfortunately, soy is in almost every packaged or prepared food found in boxes, bags, cans or jars at the grocery store. More than you probably realize. It's cheap and plentiful and can be used in a variety of ways. You can't escape it in baked goods, snack foods, vitamins and supplements, and on and on. It's pretty disappointing for someone like me (and maybe you) who is allergic to it. What are the alternatives?Well, there aren't many for alot of foods, but there are other choices for mayonnaise. None that I like, except for this one though. Bonus points to the brand for adding mustard to the ingredient list for that extra tang. I always add mustard to my mayonnaise anyway, especially when making tuna salad. That extra flavor and zing makes all the difference in the taste. My soy allergy also extended to all brands of 1000 Island Dressing, which is my go-to choice, and I was stressing out when I also discovered that literally every brand and flavor of all salad dressings contain soy as the primary ingredient. Then I learned that 1000 island is extremely easy to make at home. Now that Trader Joe's discontinued its non-soy version of mayonnaise a year ago, this is the only brand I like and use.The ingredient list contains Avocado Oil instead of Soybean Oil. Avocados are extremely healthful anyway, and I love the taste of the oil in this product. The full ingredient list is:AVOCADO OILEGG YOLKWATERDISTILLED WHITE VINEGARCOCONUT PALM SUGARLEMON JUICESALTGROUND MUSTARDGARLIC POWDERONION POWDEREDTA (Preservative)The 15 oz jar is the only size and not that generous if you use it alot. It lasts longer for sandwiches than for instance making my 1000 island dressing. It may be on the pricey side, but well worth it for taste and ingredient preference. The texture is creamy smooth, if a bit thinner than traditional mayonnaise. There can be oil separation, like with organic peanut butter, so you may need to stir it before use. The product comes tightly sealed with a cover under the jar lid, so there's no way to tamper with the contents or get a returned jar somehow without knowing. Regular mayonnaise has a sweet smell, while the tang of mustard and spices come through in this version, so don't think there's something wrong with the contents if it smells differently than regular mayonnaise.I live in LA and the product arrived the next day: well-packaged in a shipping box that protected it from any heat exposure during delivery. It arrived in perfect condition, fresh & creamy, and looked and smell great. I mention this because some recent reviews commented on rancid, separated, old or smelly product. Not sure where they live, but my product is as it should be and looked the same as when I buy it at a store. Even if you have no dietary or allergy restrictions, I think most people would find this version tastier than traditional mayonnaise. It blends as desired in any recipe. I love it and hope that it never is discontinued. EXCELLENT PRODUCT.NON-GMO. GLUTEN FREE. SOY & CANOLA FREE. CAGE-FREE EGGS.

This is a bad product
When the mayo arrived the oil formed over 80% of the container and it appeared as though the content of the mayo was all powder and Oil. I shook it countless times to form a thickened mayo and placed it in the fridge but the powder still dissolved at the bottom with the Oil floating on top. Please in your best interest don't order this product, the enthusiasm showed by the owners in their exhibition video is major scam. You are better of getting other brands with even lesser price points and better quality. If there was a rating as "Does not deserve a star" that's the rating this item should get.

I love the taste of this avocado oil mayonnaise!
I love this product, I give it 5 stars because of the mayonnaises with avocado oil, this is my favorite in flavor. But I have 3 comments to give the seller for improvement, not for criticism: 1) The two times I've ordered it, it comes with a hint of rancid flavor, but it's only when I order it through Amazon (I always buy it at Walmart and it never tastes like that).2) It also arrives with a very short expiration date. I don't know if that's why it tastes rancid or if that flavor is from poor storage. 3) Other brands don't add the preservative EDTA to their mayonnaise (however, I prefer this brand for its flavor, but that ingredient is something that has almost made me switch to other brands). This is just an opinion for improvements. Thank you.
