Ordered this from amazon in the beginning of January & was told that it would be delivered anywhere between 2-1-11 to 3-1-11. Turns out they got a hold of one a lot quicker and it was delivered 1 week after it was ordered. Received the item in 2 boxes, as others have listed, and I did not run into any problems with the carpeting on the box wearing away, it looked new, like it should. Installed my sub in it & put it in the car. Sounds great! I can't compare it to another box because I had a box for 2 12's before but was looking to just have one for a more balanced & clean sound instead of overwhelming bass. The box sounds very nice, can't really find any leaks or problems with build quality. Solid box, great performance, great deal overall.

When the enclosure showed up I was very pleasantly surprised with the the carpeting and overall build quality. The terminals aren't the best, but work just fine for my application and would have been a breeze to swap out for something nicer if desired. What you see in the picture is what you get, nothing more and nothing less.After reading some of the comments about air leaks, I went out and bought a tube of silicone and ran a healthy bead around every seam in the box, including around the terminal port and let it dry for 36 hours before installing the sub. No issues at all so far, and was certainly an easy fix for some peace-of-mind. Sounds great with my Type-R Alpine, matches the "optimal sealed" rating almost perfectly for my 1243D. Also has a little metal plaque on the front in the bottom right that says "BBOX - Atrend". It looks nice and gives the box a great look, I love it!

Well made and the price I paid was absolutely peanuts for a 12" sub box! It's a standard sub box, well put together, at a great price. No fancy extra features that I don't need.Edit: This box won't fit just any 12" sub. Be very careful with matching your 12" subwoofer volume with the box volume. 12" subs requiring this little volume exist but there aren't many that aren't shallow mount. Also watch that mounting depth!

I was at first skeptical about buying the box wondering why it was so cheap. But after reading the reviews i decided to purchase it anyway. Took awhile for the package to arrive but i was glad when it finally did. Box had a lil peice of carpet missing on one corner. Nothing a little black sharpie couldnt fix. ONly bad thing i could really say was that the emblem had fallen off the box in shipment. Took some gorilla glue and stuck it back on. Easy Fix. Then just for comfort of mind i resealed the box with some sealent and let it dry overnight. Installed the sub and was very pleased with the sound. I installed in my 97 jeep wrangler. Small box with some big sound. So id say an all around good buy for the price and sound.

Very thick MDF, no rattles and sealed very well. Cut out was perfect for my 12” Kicker Comp R subwoofer. Good quality carpet that matched my interior well and overall very good value for the money. My only complaint is that you need to supply your own female spade connectors to connect the sub to the terminal cup, but aside from that I had zero issues with the box and it works great.

This is a great box for the money... problem... This is NOT a CIRCULCAR box as advertised in the photos. In fact, it is a box made for a SQUARE subwoofer. Fortunately, I was able to cut a circular hole in the back of this box and place my 12" sub in there, mean while, taking a piece of wood and cutting it to go on the side of the box that has the SQUARE hole. So, I pretty much have the sub on the opposite side of the box as originally intended, because this wasnt the right box as advertised. The upside, IT SOUNDS GREAT! Well made box, and was able to turn this unpleasant surprise into a QUALITY box.

I've had the box for a week now as of 8/12/24. I THOUGHT that I was buying a box that was made up of ENTIRELY 3/4" MDF. What was delivered has a 3/4" face and 5/8" everywhere else. I've made my own boxes before and the woofer I have was in a 3/4" MDF box that doesn't fit well in the trunk of my other car.It plays fine for a box this size. The bass response is tight and plays low. The hole for the subwoofer was 11" dia. I don't know if they all come like that, but I think someone would want to know that, because I had to make the hole bigger to make it work. Even though I don't hate the sound of the box, I'm still a liitle pissed that it wasn't completely 3/4" MDF. I'm over here wondering how it would sound if it was.

Solid Subwoofer box, I love the fact that the front face is 1" thick. Very solid construction and the carpet is good quality and cleanly glued on.I'm using this box with an Infinity Kappa 1200W subwoofer, so I had to enlarge the opening to make the sub fit. I just used a 1" drum sander to slowly enlarge the opening, which did take a long time, but I knew I would have to enlarge the hole before buying the box.The only thing I don't like about this sub box is the terminal ring. Its the cheaper spring loaded kind, and it won't accept heavy gauge speaker wires (12 AWG speaker wire will not fit). Luckily, I found a direct replacement terminal cup (part # 04212) from ebay with binding posts, and now I can use banana plugs on the speaker wires.
