IMUSA Traditional Caldero made in Colombia with Lid, 4.8 Quart, Silver

I got this to make rice after a friend recommended.It is perfect!! It holds the steam well and cooks with rice perfectly. It is a good thick pan that keeps the heat so well. I love it. It has been great to make my chicken biryani

Just the quality you would expect from Imusa. Works well and is big enough for my large family.

The lid to the caldero does not fit securely; it leaves a small gap. Very sharp edges on both the caldero and the lid.

I love this pan , cooks rice ( which is all I have used it for) to perfection. Easy to clean, of course its edges are a little rough and you need pot holders to handle it, but that’s why we have pot holders for such as this. I would use this pan. I’m glad I purchased it.

It's brought a taste of Spain into our home, and even my hubby is a fan — so much so that he's suggested getting another one in a smaller size for days when we're cooking for just the two of us.However, through a bit of user error, I learned a valuable lesson: while the product isn't marketed as dishwasher safe, I can now confirm that it's best to keep it out of the dishwasher. After an accidental cycle, the lid looked like it had been flash-burned. Despite this mishap, the caldero itself has continued to perform flawlessly.In conclusion, the IMUSA 7.5 Quart Traditional Caldero is a stellar addition to any kitchen, especially for those looking to bring a bit of traditional cooking into their modern lives. Pot was huge very sturdy. At first lid seam as if it didn't fit as I adjusted it fits perfectly

It's Poorly made the edges of the pot and handles has jagged sharpness to it. Like if I'm not careful washing it I'll cut myself. Also it was packaged in a oversized box with no stuffing to stop it from shifting around while in transport. There's dirty finger prints on the inside of the lid. Someone genius decided to put tape on the car instructions which are already stuck to the pan and will rip up in pieces just to get it off the pan. So basically no care instructions after the struggle to get tape and stick instructions off. I wish people could just do things a bit more professionally. I'm undecided if I want to send it back because of the quality.
