Works well. Only downside is that the inside has a lot of foam and it’s difficult to remove the key. As a workaround attached a paper clip which allows you to grab it easier

This product does exactly what is stated. With a combination lock access, it securely stores the key to my fireproof filing cabinet. The sliding dust cover for the numbers is helpful. The magnet on the back of the device is very strong for secure placement of the device on steel. The personal combination was easy to set.

I liked that I can put under my car or hide near house and that the combination lock provides some additional security from thieves.

The product is fine, but a little challenging to open. We received a package that been cut open. Evidently, it was a return from someone who couldn’t figure out how to open the lock. Honesty, we opened the second lock to see if there was a problem. It was much easier to open, and that help us figure out how to open the first one.

Decent magnet strength. Comes with a metal plate with sticky 3M pad if you want to stick it somewhere non magnetic. I like that there's a cover that slides back and forth to cover the numbers from the weather. Easy to change the combo. The foam area isn't too bad to get the out key from (I have thin fingers though).Minor annoyance: the magnet thickness is shorter than the spot for it on the safe. This means the magnet doesn't actually touch the surface you're sticking it to (it comes pretty close but there's a very thin gap if you're doing a flat surface).

This is an ok product but if you were expecting the lock to actually stop a theif from accessing you key, Your looking at the wrong product. A stubby screw driver or bigger can be used to pry off the top of this lock box in about 5 seconds. Not much longer than it takes to open a non-lockable hide a key. The only thing that slows down a theif in this case is the need to find somthing to pry it open with. The lock is more secure than a standard hide a key box in that I have had hide a key boxes slide open on their own without the aid of a human. Simply by them droping 5 feet to the ground as provoked by a cat or dog or other force of physics. The lock on this would stop that and contain anything it had in it after the fall. This also concels the key and magnetically attaches to a metal surface on a vehicle. It also has a bar mounted to the bottom of the box you could use to connect a saftey line or chain to incase the magnet force was over come and causing the box to fall of the vehilce. The saftey chain would prevent complete loss of your spare key and the lock box. On the plus side if you ever forget the combination you can just pry the box open and retreve your key. It will distroy the box but at least you have your key back.

This lock is not the most heavy duty. If you do a good job hiding it, I think the price point matches its level of security it offers. A motivated person could smash this with heavy boulders or an ax to get to it, since after all it is made out of plastic. It will work great for what I need.Upon setting it up, I opened and closed it three times with its new combination, and then the lock got seized up inside somehow and will no longer open. It was past its return window so I called customer service and they reminded me it has a one year warranty and they are now mailing me a no hassle replacement, no shipping fees or return run-around. Customer service is top notch.
