I ordered this as a gift ... the cake recipes and ideas are so clever and easy to follow.

great book, prompt delivery, new and different ideas never see before, never dreamed i would be able to make some of these cakes but full instructions and photos are included easy enough for even me to do

This book leaves a lot to be desired. First, each one was a federal project. Second, each one called for something i do not have on hand (zig-zag knife) or such. Third, most of these recipes were for children's cakes. As I said, very disappointing,

I was expecting a book comparable to a cookbook in terms of how many cakes would be shown. Instead, the book had a very small number of cakes, and the ones on the cover were the main ones. I just expected more.

A gift was my sister, the baker, and she was very pleased. Good instructions and recipes and very creative cakes.

My sister-in-law recently got into cake-making so she loved this book (Christmas present). Thanks! :)

what I did not like about the book is it did not include the cake recipe. However the details on how to do things like level a cake, what type of coating to use such as ganache or Buttercream was helpful. The book also Indicated how big a project was and a rough idea for time frame such as 3 days! there were tips and tricks in the book which I liked to ensure success of the project. My first project was a success... even if it doesn't look like the picture I was modelling it after it turned out great! My friends and family loved it!
