Good ball joints
They fit perfectly on my 04 Silverado 2500HD 4x4. I used a different brand last time that had a lifetime warranty, but they needed replacing in less then 2 years. I’m hoping these will last a lot longer. These are the same ball joints that most reputable repair shops use. Beware because there are knockoffs that that have the Moog nome on them, be sure they have the gold plate that says “problem solver”and they are made in the USA

Different ball joints
There are 2 different types of arms the forged and the welded upper control arms I have the welded on my truck 02 duramax and these did not fit and there is only these specified by moog but there an 1mm smaller than the ones taken out so there must be a different part number for these arms but I couldn’t find them so I ordered the whole moog arm. Moog is good product just need the right size.

Good quality, little instructions.
They’re ball joints. Slight pain to get in, even more of a pain getting the old out. But that’s beside the point. About 100 miles on these now with my 2006 gmc sierra 2500hd, no issues so far. My reasoning for a 4 star and not a 5 star is that there was no included instructions and the online instructions they refer you to state they must have the alignment hole facing towards the inside of the wheel well. However after calling moog, they are no longer directional and it does not matter for the upper ball joint. For the lower ball joint, if you buy moog that is, place the grease zert facing towards the inside.

Exact fit
Contacted the manufacture of the upper control arm and this was the ball joint they recommended for it. Arrived early and works great!

Junk dont waste your time, poor threads stripped
Ordered this new and received a damaged return that I couldn't use so I sent it back. Ordered another one and this one was unused and looked fine so I pressed it in with a pro grade press then started screwing the nut on and it immediately stripped right where the bolt was narrowed for the retainer pin hole! My truck has been up on jacks and unusable for a week now... soft threads + poorly narrowed threads = stick to ACDELCO
