Nioxin Density Defend Styling Root Lifting Spray has been a game-changer for my fine hair. It adds instant volume and lift at the roots, giving my hair a fuller and more voluminous appearance. The product is advertised to be unscented. It is scented, and for a person with scent allergies, this could be a problem. I tried it once and I do like the way it works and it leaves my hair shiny. After a couple of hours the scent seemed to dissipate so I may keep using this. Also, my cat was obsessed with smelling and rubbing herself on my hair because of the scent of this supposedly unscented product.

I did and am I thrilled with the results. My long hair looks fuller, it is softer. And it holds a wave longer. As for the directions to spray the roots and style (as with a styling brush), I cannot do that on myself. So, I spray the roots, take my ionic hair dryer and put it on "cool" Hair dryer in one hand, using the other hand's fingers to lift the hair, I set about drying it, working the airflow down to the tips. I employ five big hot rollers to give my hair added wave and smoothness. You can also use an ionic hair brush/straightener. I wind my hair up into a bun at night; in the morning I take the bun down and VIOLA! Lovely locks!
