I bought this item to help me in my small business. Now, I realize that it's not just helping me in business concerns, it's become a third hand of sorts for my whole life. I can track everything - perhaps not a revolutionary idea these days. But for me, this is the first touch-screen "smart" device I've ever owned. I've had to learn a lot, but this device made that process much easier. Some devices (or their designers) seem to think that you should have a degree in rocket science to understand and use their tech; Samsung wants people to be able to integrate the device into what they do so that they don't have to THINK about it, just use it, as effortlessly as they do a regular notepad and pen or any other tool.And that is what this is for me now. An invaluable tool.Though I did break down and put one or two games on it. :P

I've had Samsung tablets in the past and loved them, so I thought this tablet was a safe purchase due to the brand name. What a horrible mistake that was.I have several kids and they need tablets for school, piano lessons, and other things, so I try to buy affordable tablets that work. I've had bad luck with cheap tablets that are not name branded, so when I saw this on Prime Day sale I jumped.Even on first boot, right out of the box, the tablet was so unusably slow (it would take 5 to 10 seconds to register a single touch) that I couldn't even create more than one user. By the time the touch registers sometimes, the screen has already timed out and locked. It's difficult to clear the lock screen as well because by the time it registers the touch that you want to use the tablet, it has already timed out again.The most regrettable part is that I had already bought a protective case and a Skinomi tech skin screen for the tablet (and had already installed them). Because of this sending it back isn't worth it. Next time, with some other brand tablet, I will try it out to make sure it works ok before I buy cases and screen protectors.Don't be lured in by the price. Find something else. I would guess the more expensive Samsung tablets don't have this problem, but after this experience personally, I'm not going to find out. If anyone has recommendations for affordable android tablets, I would appreciate a tip :-)

I purchased the unit with WiFi but was distressed to find that the link to Verizon had been installed. Since I already have a Smartphone using AT&T I am not interested in changing services. Since I just recently received the tablet I am still getting use to it. As with other reviews, the unit did not come with the original charger. It took approximately 8 hours to charge the unit using the charger provided also, unit does not seem to hold a charge that long.

Love this tablet! I have had it for about a month now and am very happy with it. I have had samsung galaxy phones for the past few years and am always happy with them, this is no different. I like that i can have access to any android app I want and they run nicely on it. The screen size is perfect for reading, exploring apps, etc. The speakers are much louder than I anticipated. I plugged a bluetooth speaker into it to play music outside, but the tablet's speakers were twice as loud as my speaker was! If you want a tablet with a decent camera, this is not it. I use it every once in a while for snapchat, but it isn't even good enough for that. Overall, the quality is great and can't beat the value for the price!

I brought a Samsung galaxy tab 4,I got on February3,the only thing I don't like is I can't get alot of stuff on this tablet,when I play a game it knocks me out.I don't have the box for the tablet.I found one that want.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 is the perfect sized tablet for lounging in bed & reading a book, playing games, watching movies, just checking email etc. I love the option of adding a micro SD card to increase storage space when needed. The android OS is perfect & has all my favorite apps! I would highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 for anyone looking for a perfectly sized tablet that's reasonably priced with all of the great features one would want from a tablet.

I had a Galaxy Tab S2 for about 8 years still worked well enough, till my cat knocked it in the tub. So I found this S4 and assumed "Renewed" meant refurbished. Nope!The battery LITERALLY ticks away 1% by the minute. I tried to watch 2 Netflix show and (45 min each) and it died before I could finish second episode. Then there is the slowness. I could not believe how slow the device was compared to my S2. Lastly, the device won't update to current versions of Android, it is stuck permanently on 5.0 despite troubleshooting with both Samsung and AT&T. Only reason I didn't seek refund was because I didn't REALLY start using it till Covid became a big deal and I was home more to play with it. (About 4 months after I bought it)
