Everything is ok. Sound is clear and great - Don't believe it is capable of poWer it is written but I drive them with yamaha A-S701 amplifer (100W RMS) - second channel speakers are JBL Control One - it works great despite difference in ohm. Good product and it lived multiple rain days and also 2 hailstorms. They still work perfect.

Installed at the start of the season and they sound great. They have been well tested with getting wet in the boat and still have a great sound.

These went into a 2005 Larsen 27 Lxi to replace the original Jensen 150 watt speakers that were just weather warn and cones blown. These went in easily although the the old speakers had a snap on cover and these are single molded unit and I had to drill new screw holes because these were out farther than originals. The sound great at abut 50% of volume when playing off an Iphone that is set to top volume. But when you start getting to 75% volume on my 200 watt / 50 per channel system, they start distorting quickly. That said... at idle or low cruise, 50% is almost too loud for conversation, but when we are underway, and want more volume, we distort at the higher end. I'm not an audio expert, but I sure don't understand how a 200 watt speaker like this one can distort on a 50 watt per channel, 200 watt max head unit. In fairness, I think the Jensen's that came with the boat would distort too, but its been so long since they were new, solid speakers before they blew out, I kind of forget. Short version: These are cheap, sound good, work and got us back to some good sound when played at a reasonable, old man volume.

I updated my boat with these. Went from 50watt Kenwood to these 400watt Pyle. Easy install. Good construction. Good sound.

I got these to replace a flush mount installation in our RV. Instead of sawing a bigger opening in the wall, I used flush mount adapters to mount these on the outside of the wall. These are deep, fairly at speakers and when doing this type of retro-fit, it's important to check for your opening width and depth. I avoided that with a good pair of adapters. The sound on these is just a huge improvement over the standard crap speakers RV manufacturers use. If I ever bought another RV, in addition to replacement of the garbage shower head, and mattress, I'd also make replacing the outdoor speakers with a pair like these a condition of the sale.
