Pricey but Staying OEM is Good
I like to use OEM parts when fixing/replacing/maintaining most of the things I buy (ie. Computers, Phones, Furniture, etc), and my car is no different! I have a Subaru Forester and it's been going strong for ~100,000km/62,000miles by maintaining it well, and therefore I like to use OEM Subaru oil when doing my own oil changes. It is pricey when compared to other oils you can buy, and I don't have any objective data to say that my car wouldn't be running this well if I used something else, but I would def recommend if you're an OEM kinda person, and I will purchase again for sure!

Give your Subaru what it’s meant to have period
Clean OEM performance minded oil. Hey I’m not outsmarting mechanical engineers that designed and function tested engines. Trust them, they picked this for a reason.

Nat Gas oil
Watch the labels Subaru has changed, true synthetic is Nat gas to oil and Subaru is outsourcing since market force changed The Old "Genuine Subaru Certified Synthetic Motor Oil" The New is "Certified Synthetic Motor Oil" Do not pay premium for generic it a shame JAPAN the leaders in Quality Control (quality circles and TQM) again only Natural Gas makes pure synthetic and only by quality "like Subaru" was it assured. It's only 4 quarts!
I purchased this product because I wanted to keep All Subaru parts for my new Outback. Didn't read carefully enough the description - it's only 4 quarts. Car requires 5 quarts. Just be warned. Still gave it 5 stars as it was my fault for not being a careful shopper.

Always use Subaru products but people complain about the stupidest things
People need to get over that it says 1gal instead of in qts. With ALL this technology you can convert it if you need your hand held for every thing you order online. Buy two! It’s always good to have some around regardless.
