Best walking sandal

I don’t have a big foot at all but the top of this shoe doesn’t stretch much so it’s tight.

The material of the straps made me a bit hesitant about keeping them at first, so I wore them around the house before deciding to keep them and wear outside. I have very high arches, so the fabric straps have very little 'give', even with wear, so I had to be sure it would not cause swollen or blistered feet to wear for prolonged periods of time because I bought them for walking - both recreational and for sensible, stable shoes for leisurely outings of unknown terrain and situations that required standing for long periods. II am very satisfied - they are truly like walking on air and the straps, though snug, are not uncomfortable and just add to the support. Highly recommend!PS my high arches are the only reason I rated them just under 'fit as expected', since that factor made them a bit snug at first

Look is good, but the material is not; it’s hard on feet, need socks.

This sandal will not win awards for looks, but it is the most comfortable pair of sandals I have ever owned. Pain-free after being on my feet all day with plantar fasciitis!

I recently needed a pair of good walking sandals for a trip to Europe. I wanted a pair that would work with a dress or skirt so I would not have to wear tennis shoes with those items. The catch is I have plantar fasciitis , so I can't wear just any shoe. After much research, I decided to try these, and they turned out to be great! I was nervous that my foot would hurt, but I walked miles in them with no trouble over all types of terrain. In addition, the straps did not rub my feet or leave blisters. When the shoes first arrived, the straps across the top of my foot felt a bit tight, but another reviewer mentioned that they would stretch a little over time, and that was the case. I am glad I did not exchange them for a wide (I normally wear a medium). These sandals are very light and comfortable. I am glad I bought them... also hopeful that other types of Clarks might work for me so that I won't have to be a Vionoc hostage anymore, lol
