No more yelling out the answers and kids love them!
I am a homeschool mom with two children. They are old enough to know that they need to take turns with calling out an answer, but sibling rivalry is real, and they compete with who can answer me first. I decided I'd go on Amazon and see if I could find some sort of buzzer and we'd turn oral quizzes and discussion questions into our own game show. These buzzers are different colors and product different sounds. The only problem I had was who would get which buzzer. But once they chose their sound, that buzzer became theirs. But buzzers work well, and the sounds are not overly loud. They do take batteries, but the battery life has held up great thus far. These buzzers have been a fun addition to our homeschool classroom and a game changer (pun intended) for us all.

Take Your Game Night to the Next Level with These Buzzers
These answer buzzers were an absolute hit for our family Jeopardy game! The fact that each buzzer has its own distinct sound made it so much easier to tell who buzzed in first. Plus, they were surprisingly loud – definitely loud enough to cut through all the yelling and laughter that inevitably comes with our competitive family gatherings!

Good sounds, but battery cover annoying.
1. I like these buzzers. They are adequate for my needs (a “game show” exercise in the classroom). The volume is loud enough without being obnoxious. I have used them only once, so I cannot comment on their durability. 2. For the record, they do not light up. 3. The worst feature is that they came with the battery cover screwed on way too tight. I have a precision screwdriver set and was still worried that I had to apply so much pressure to unscrew the cover that I would strip the tiny screw. Sure enough, that’s what I did for one of the buzzers. I had to pry the plastic cover off, install the batteries, and tape it shut. The buzzers were so cheap and the work-around sufficient that I didn’t want to bother sending them back just to get another set with the same problem. 4. Finally, a word on usage. There are four sounds: 1 BLUE “BOING”; 2 ORANGE “DING-DONG” (like a doorbell chime); 3 GREEN “DING” (like the sound made by a hammer game at a carnival”); and PURPLE “HONK HONK.” When I paired up students for my quiz show, I used the GREEN DING vs. ORANGE DING-DONG buzzers. But the DING-DONG sound goes on a tad longer than the single DING, often giving the illusion that the DING-DONG buzzer buzzed first, because it overshadows the DING. My point is, you might want to experiment with how you pair the buzzers if you use only two. I think BLUE “BOING” pairs better with GREEN “DING,” leaving PURPLE to pair with ORANGE. Ok, I feel ridiculous for just having written that paragraph. In short, for under $15, these buzzers will probably be fine.

I love this product but...
You may get a little BUZZED off this one. Back in my day I was captain of the Quiz Bowl team. We even went on to win the National Championship my Junior year. Fun fact: That’s why we people call me Champ to this day. I wanted to re-live the ol’ glory days as they say, so I bought this to add a bit of fun to family game night. To make it “fair”, it was me on one team and Linda, Jacob, and Isabella on the other side. Linda also had a few of her co-workers from the Firehouse over for dinner, so Todd and Kevin joined in as well, and Ashley read the clues. It was five against me, and we played the best of three rounds. The first round I slaughtered them. Just brutal. I don’t think they even got one answer in. I was on fire they were out of water. Round two I must have gotten a little too cocky, and they answered a question, but I still won. At this point I think Todd was getting a little competitive, too, because he called up some reinforcements from the station as buck-up for the final round. Before we knew it, a fire engine showed up - it was now nine against one. It all came down to round three. The fresh blood on Linda’s side helped - they knew their state capitols, their famous sports figures, their natural sciences. They even knew their classical Western lit! We were tied up with one question to go and it was a “Musical Clue” as they called it, where you play a couple notes and have to guess off that. Ashley gave a hint before playing the notes: “This movie’s song helped make it’s star famous.” That’s all I needed. I had ‘em. Before they I even played a single note of the song, I buzzed in. “Risky Business” I said. They all looked at me. There was a moment of silence. Linda and the kids stared at each other then looked to Ashley, who said “That’s correct.” It’s still one of my proudest moments. Up there with the birth of my kids.

Teacher Pass
I’d pass on these! They are fine. Not crazy loud, annoying, and slide around some. The idea is wonderful but they have much better options out there.

Estos pulsadores funcionan muy bien, tienen colores muy atractivos y sonidos variados. No obstante, no tienen mucha potencia de sonido. Si se va a usar en clases muy numerosas y ruidosas puede que no se escuche del todo bien.

These buzzers work great. They are very durable and stand up to even toddlers! They are perfect for games where you need a buzzer. The sounds on each one is different so you know which person the sound is coming from. The colors are vibrant. They do not light up though. The volume is not adjustable but they are a good volume for parties. One of them is a doorbell sound, so the dog had to get used to it! They work well and there is no delay when you push them. The buzzers are about 4 inches wide and an inch tall.
