Great beard trimmer with excellent performance
This Wahl beard trimmer works extremely well and feels solid in the hand. The blades are sharp and precise, and I really like that they’re self-sharpening, which keeps the trimming smooth over time. The battery life is impressive — lasting weeks between charges — and the fact that it can be used corded or cordless makes it very convenient. The different guide attachments are easy to switch and allow for clean, even trims whether you want stubble, medium length, or a fuller beard. It’s simple to use, not too heavy, and delivers consistent results. Overall, it’s a reliable and well-built trimmer that offers great value. Highly recommended for anyone looking to maintain their beard with ease.

A really well though out groomsman with attachments!!
This is my second one of these, they seem to last a long time with a lot of use. It is a well made trimmer with a lot of additional items. These charge fast and can be used when plugged in or not. The attachments can be used to really help shape and manage your beard and most other facial hair!

Wahl Groomsman - A good value for the money!
Every guy needs a hair trimmer. After having an untamed beard for a few months, I decided to reign it in. After doing extensive comparison shopping of the various bear trimmer in the sub $30 price range, the Wahl Groomsman Beard and Mustache Trimmer appeared to be the best combination of value and functionality. The well-known quality of Wahl products also played a part in the selection of this device. So the things I really like about this trimmer are as follows. The trimmer has a nice ergonomic shape. It is easy to hold and manipulate, especially to get in those difficult areas. I love the fact that it is rechargeable. While this wasn’t a big deal going in, since making the purchase I’ve used it in the shower (without getting it wet). I would not have done this with a corded device, obviously. I don’t think it’s waterproof or even water resistant but that’s ok with me. What I do not like is as follows. It’s sharp enough for trimming a rogue hair here and there in my beard. However, when compared to the trimmer my barber uses (which probably costs two to three times as much) his does a much better job. The cutting blades cut much quicker and with more precision. I also do not like the little red button located on the power button that needs to be pushed in, before you can slide the power button to the “ON” position. I’m sure some lawyer thought this up. It’s a pain! All in all, this is a good device for the money. If I were spending two to three times as much, I would be disappointed with the devices ability to cut through dense hair using the included guards.

Excellent Beard Trimmer - Highly Impressed!
I recently purchased the Wahl beard trimmer, and it has exceeded my expectations! The build quality is outstanding, with a sturdy feel that gives confidence it will last for a long time. The blades are sharp and precise, delivering a clean and even trim every time. The adjustable settings make it easy to achieve the exact length I want, and the trimmer handles everything from shaping to detailing effortlessly. The battery life is fantastic, lasting through multiple uses before needing a charge, which is a big plus. This trimmer is a game-changer for maintaining a well-groomed look. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality trimmer!

After 3 Years Still Going Strong!
I purchased the Wahl Clipper Groomsman Cord/Cordless Beard Trimmer a little over three years ago. It has been flawless to date. I've owned numerous beard trimmers over the decades including ones that tried to rip every other whisker out to ones that left either a very uneven trim or the trimmer itself lasted only months. This one is by far the best I've owned. The overall quality is very, very good. It's solid and should last many years. I'm not hard on beard trimmers. I have a typical goatee/mustache that I like to keep short neat and tidy. I use this trimmer about once per week on average. Although it's never fully run down I can tell when it's starting to slow and simply plug it in for 24 hours and it's good to go for several more months. I do wish the LED charging light would change color or go out when it's fully charged but that's about the only thing I would change about it. I've only used the one attachment that keeps my beard short and smooth so I can't speak to the others. The tiny brush is good for regular cleaning and the charging stand works well. The blades are still sharp after three years use. I still have some of the oil that came with to lubricate the blades. FYI: I decided to take it apart recently to fully clean it. Removing the two screws in the head allows the blades to come off and you can get at the inside to clean the hairs out with some canned air. Mind that the head comes apart into several pieces. Putting it back together isn't totally intuitive, but there's an excellent YouTube video showing reassembly of this specific model called "Putting your WAHL Beard Trimmer back together (high quality)" Recommended!

Good trimmer, bad battery and doesn't work corded as advertised
OK, here's the problem. I like this trimmer and have had one for years. It died, so I tried another Wahl trimmer that I didn't like as much and it died quickly. I tracked this one down on Amazon and bought it, as I liked the previous one I owned so much. I got it and felt it was really good. Had an issue where the light never came on (my last one did), but it worked fine, so I didn't care. Now I only trim my beard once a week, so I charged it initially and used it a couple of weeks with no issues. I plugged it in the second time and forgot about it for a week until I used it again. No problems, it worked fine. Used it a few more times and plugged it in again and forgot it until I used it again, a week later. The battery is now shot. Won't hold a charge but for a few seconds. Worst part is I specifically sought this one as you're supposed to be able to use it while on the cord, but mine is so weak on the cord as to be useless. So, basically, I got maybe a half dozen uses out of it. Yes, I left it plugged in for a week at a time, twice, but really, the battery is so poor that it can't handle that? Even considering that, I'd have no problem with this model if it just worked as advertised while plugged in on the cord, but it doesn't. This is basically a cordless trimmer with a battery that needs to be nursed to survive. Not like the last one I owned, at all. Maybe I got a bad one, it's possible, since the LED light never worked once. 3 stars because I love the trimmer, but can't really recommend it since half of the ones I owned have let me down.

High quality, works great, but do read the instruction
I was very surprised by the high quality of this trimmer. The low price made me think it would be a cheap plastic thing, but it's quite solid and heavy, and it felt like something a professional hair stylist or barber would use. But do read the instructions. It comes with several plastic attachments, and none of them really seemed right for the whisker length that I wanted. I read the instructions more carefully, and it turns out that one of the plastic attachments is itself adjustable, although in a very subtle way that isn't at all obvious from simply looking at it. So I was able to get the desired trim length quite precisely after all. Also, it comes with a small red plastic tab-like thing sticking out of the on-off switch. Looks like it was inserted to prevent the trimmer from turning on while in delivery (it came fully charged), but I was greatly puzzled by this little red thing for a long time. I finally gave up reading the instructions and simply got a pair of pliers and ripped it out. Anyway, I used the trimmer and got a super professional trim on my beard, felt just like I had come from the barber. The results were so nice that I may actually keep my beard now because I can make it look neat and trim whenever I want. (I had grown it temporarily to let a skin injury heal.) Highly recommend this product.

So far, so good
This is a very nice trimmer at a budget price, and it completely changed my perception of what a Ni-Cd powered trimmer could be. My only other experience with a Ni-Cd powered trimmer was the gawdawful Remington PG6020, which I thought I was getting at a good price at my local Kohls. They charged $22 for it a full price, and I used one of those $10 gift cards they periodically mail to houses in my neighborhood to bring it down to around $13. Holy cow that was a waste of money. The attachments were hard to use, most of them were useless, and the trimmer was only usable for a couple of minutes after several hours of charging. I used it once, lost the charger somewhere, and decided to cut my losses and just chuck that piece of crap. That little episode impressed some thoughts into me: 1) That despite the cool premium-sounding name, Remington is willing to release a completely crap product to the masses, and 2) Kohls is as crappy a department store as I expected when they first moved into my neighborhood if they had the gall to sell that trimmer. Nowadays, I only go there to spend those $10 gift cards on socks because most other things in that store are just too expensive and not worth the asking price. Anyway, onto this Wahl. After a few months of usage, I'm quite impressed by it. First off, though the instructions say to charge overnight before use, the trimmer had enough battery power for your first trim coming right out of the box. (I would still follow the instructions and charge it first.) And indeed, that battery power is no fluke. So far, I've been able to use this Wahl trimmer on average 1.5 months before needing to charge it (I typically trim 1-3 times a week). Not too shabby. The trimmer itself is quite powerful, and, with or without the included combs, will make short work of trimming even the hardest and most stubborn hairs on your face. And though it's a bit loud, you're not living with this noise 24/7, so why should you care so much about how much noise it makes while trimming? And one of the best attributes is that you can use this trimmer when its battery has drained and is being charged, something that POS Remington couldn't do. Overall, I really can't ask more from a trimmer at this price. I can only think of a few negatives, one being the quality of the included combs. They're made of a pretty cheap and hard plastic as other reviews have stated. I try to be gentle and not rip them off the trimmer to prolong their life. The packaging that the trimmer comes in is also a pain in the butt to take off, and potentially dangerous as you're opening it. Don't rip through it to get to your new trimmer, or you might suffer a nasty cut from a sharp plastic packaging edge.
