TREK BUDDY CARRY ON CABIN HAND LUGGAGE SUITCASE

I bought this so I could travel with only paid for hand luggage on a 4 day trip using a budget airline. The bag seems well made and pretty durable. It fitted the airline's overhead cabin bag policy and I was able to fit everything I needed into it. I would recommend it.

Held a lot of stuff. We went in a 4 day trip and the bag was OK for 1 person, 1 husband bought one as well. I found it difficult to have on my back but husband didn't have an issue. I think for me it sat too high and handling through the airport was a pain.

Currently onto my 2nd Trek Buddy rucksack and I love it. I used the first one so much it eventually ended up with holes in it but that was after years of use and abuse. It's super light weight, seriously durable, and is like a TARDIS / Mary Poppins bag - you can pack loads in it. I typically use mine for shopping or travelling / laundry - will fit a 15-17'' laptop with plenty of room for other items, lots of compartments for separating different items, easy to clean, and the straps are fantastic - so comfortable for carrying if heavy fully-packed. Cannot recommend enough.

I thought it looked a little small when it arrived, just a standard rucksack size, not much bigger than my regular carhaart one.I knew this was gonna be sus when it said approximately. It's not even close to approximate, it's not even rounded to the closest 5cm mark, nevermind 1The REAL measurements are49cm height31cm Width15.5cm DepthHOWEVER, I have decided to keep it because it was a very functional travel bag. I loaded it up to 6kg and really put it through it's paces. It's not showed any signs of splitting yet. It does seem to be made of really durable material which is more than I can say for my IT suitcase who's stitching came away before my trip was over.I can fit my large laptop inside it's own bag inside this bag sideways. It is very malleable and has a lot of room and it's still relatively comfortable to wear while it's heavily loaded.The tradeoff is that once the zips come all the way down there is nothing holding your stuff in, you have to micromanage and hold stuff in place to zip it up. This is what allows it to fit to your possessions rather than your possessions fitting to the bag. There's lots of compartments and pockets to make things easier to find.I managed to fit in a couple of shirts, shorts, socks and undies, plastic toiletries bag, medication bag + rescue pack, Handheld console, go pro, batteries and chargers, laptop, a packed lunch, a bunch of other smaller stuff, . two caps clipped to the tightening straps, travel pillow attached to to the zips via a mini carabinerit's just screaming out for an elastic side pocket to fit a water bottle to make it more useful when you've unpacked it, or a place to put your passport without having to go into the main bag compartments.

I bought two of these backpacks years ago and have used them regularly as hand luggage for travelling abroad. They zip all the way round the edge so that you can pack your clothes like a suitcase. There is a second thinner zipped compartment with all sorts of pockets to hold paperwork and accessories. There is then a zipped pocket on the front to keep things close to hand. The backpack has two buckle straps on each side to tighten the bag down when packed. They are sturdy and have lasted a long time and therefore I recommended to family and bought more from Amazon recently. Now that the hand luggage size has been reduced by Easyjet these bags are ideal. As they are not rigid you can ensure that they fit the size if not overpacked, you carry them onboard for free and they go under the seat in front.
