I used this device to cut my kitties nails. It was very sharp and made the job easy, it performed perfectly. They also sent a PDF explaining how to perform the job. That helped greatly, I was edgy about doing this and between the great product and the instructions, it worked perfectly.

I have 6 small “cage critters” (2 rats, 2 guinea pigs and 2 rabbits) and so I have nails that need to be trimmed often, and these are hands down THE BEST clippers. They’re comfortable and sharp to make clean cuts

My cat does not and never will like his nails trimmed. But he hates going to the vet even more. So the old boy has to put up with me trimming his claws. These work much better than a previous pair of clippers I had, and cut more cleanly, leaving less roughness. The only problem I have is not with the product, it is with the cat! The only way I can get all his front claws is to sit at the desk with him on my lap, pushed close enough to the desk so that it's harder for him to wiggle away from me. But it works - most of the time. I can usually get one of two back nails at a time, when he's sprawled out sleeping. Happy with the purchase, and would buy again.

One of my cats has very thick nails; the other cat has very thin nails. This clipper is incredibly sharp and cuts through both nail types with ease and speed. The handle is also very comfortable.

I have to say, I was very skeptical about trying to trim these little claws, but I thought I would order these clippers and give it a try, before making an appointment at the groomers. I am a first time kitty owner, as we took in a stray a couple months ago and the vet trimmed her nails, the first time. But, these came with an e-book that you can download and it had some really great information. The clippers are razor sharp with blunt ends, so you don't have to worry about hurting your animal. After she got on my lap, I just started to massage her paw and got a couple of nails, and just kept on going. It wasn't near the traumatic event, I anticipated!! In fact, it didn't bother either one of us. Glad I purchased these, they saved time and money.

These are the best scissors we've ever used on our two cats' nails. They cut a nice, straight, clean cut and it takes us less than half the time to cut their nails with them, than it has with any other scissors or clippers we've tried.. I can't recommend them enough and after twelve years, I've become a bit of an expert on cat's nails.We bought our two cats from a reputable breeder - or that's what they said. It didn't take us long to figure out that they hadn't been socialized and as such, had never been brushed, had their nails cut, or been with people. The Vet first cut their nails and naturally, she did it with no problems. She said they had never had their nails cut before. She recommended a large clipper like she used and she said I should hold the cat and my husband should cut their nails the next time their nails needed to be cut.That was easier said than done! Our female has pointy nails and a high quick and naturally, the second time we cut her nails, my husband cut into her quick. After that, neither of them wanted to have their nails cut and my usually decisive husband, tried all kinds of scissor and clippers before settling on a lousy pair that I thought just crushed their nails, and didn't cut them.This time, I looked around and bought these scissors instead and I'm so glad I did. He didn't mind trying them and they cut a nice quick, straight cut in less than half the time it took us to cut their nails in the past. My only regret is that I didn't find these gems sooner. And just to make them more attractive, after purchase, the company sends you two booklets; one on cutting cats' nails and one on cat first aid. They are a first-rate company and I highly recommend them!

I tried a more expensive nail clipper that claimed it was very sharp, but was very difficult to use and left my cat with hangnails. I decided to get this one to try it out, and it works perfectly. Combined with a (separately purchased) $15 grooming bag, this ultimately saved me lots of money and time because I can clip both of my cats' nails at home and don't have to deal with stressing them out by taking them to the groomer or the vet for nail clipping. My cats are extremely resistant to any kind of nail clipping, hence the need for the grooming bag. All in all, these are good and sharp nail clippers. Highly recommend. They even come with a nail clipping guide in PDF format if you are unsure how to do it.

I love these clippers. They are very sharp and cut extremely well! I had used regular nail clippers but wasn’t satisfied with how they left the nail. It was cracked and then had more shedding of the sheath. I had trouble holding mainly as I have major arthritis issues in hands. I looked at the ones with handles like a pair of pliers and realized they would slip. I read reviews and studied this type. This seemed like the best option for me. They are great!!! They don’t slip around. I have steady secure hold and they are small enough that they don’t scare my cat at all. Not painful in any way to hold onto. Wish I had bought these before and saved myself so much hassle and also they are great for my cat. Old large cat nail clippers I have used became dull and they are bulky and ackward. I feel like ordering an extra pair to have on hand! Highly recommend!

These claw clippers are excellently designed and easy to handle. Now if only my cat would let me near her to cut her claws, we'd all be happy. Alas, that's not about to happen. :(
