Liquitex Basics Paintbrush, No. 2, White

I was searching for a set of brushes for my oil paints that might contain a fan brush, but not a one of them did, so I was particularly pleased when I saw this offered separately. All of my new brushes that I purchased for oil painting came on the same day, so I tried them all out on the day they were delivered. I wanted to see how they would perform with the oil paints for which I purchased them. This fan brush works very well. I couldn't be more pleased, especially with the fact that my pet peeve with brushes is when I sit down to use a new one, and a hair comes out immediately. That did not happen with this brush. It seems extremely well made and laid out the paints as I wanted them to go down. I recommend this highly for oil paints, and think that it would perform equally well with gouache.

I love the brush but I handle glue the wooden handle back to the metal brush holder right off the bat otherwise bristle and shape is sweet for the price

Thank goodness for Amazon. My daughter needed this for her art class and Amazon was the only place that I could find it. Great quality and looks professional.

My favorite paint brushes - love them.

Very satisfied with the quality and performance of this brush. I have a heavy hand, I like to bend and turn brushes in a manor that they might not intend be used, just to force different affects with my paint. This brush holds it's form and shape really well. No complaints, Liquitex makes a great product.

Was a much softer brush than I thought it would be. I needed something much stiffer to paint with acrylics for a Fall foliage scene. Otherwise, the brush is fine.

This brush made me feel like I shouldn't paint with it. LOL. It felt sooo good in the acrylics and as I stroked the paint on the canvas. Of course I totally did not realise that I was only ordering one brush - as all I saw was the image - but the one brush is the best I've ever had and used.

This brush is so perfect for details. A really amazing paint brush.

The product came nicely wrapped, but the hairs on the brush get folded so fast, its almost impossible to keep in anywhere other then a flat surface. Over all this is not a brush that I would get for watercolor, but it still works so its fine. Also its very soft.

I don't get it liquitex have an amazing reputationI read bad reviews about their brushes but I'm not an "artist" I'm more of a crafter or try a special effect for a project kind of thing (because I have no artistic talent sadly if amazon sell it left me know)So I figured the brushes were probably fine and the worst reviews were olderSo my brush arrives just loose in the box with lots of other stuff no bristle tube or anything! (I got a fan as well that was in a bag)I tested it out it seemed great yeyNext time I go to use it though different story it's dropping bristles everywhere
